Remember Gavin, it's your opinion that my posts are my opinion.

I beg your pardon? Good god man, don't you get it? Things are either facts or they are not, but you state them both in the same way.

"Axing the live feed has p*** off the few people still just about watching."

That's so much rubbish. You express it as if it's a given fact, when its nothing of the kind. That's ONE example from TODAY, brekkie.

For someone who contributes *so much* in written form, you should at least have a grasp on how you present and distinguish your opinions, and when you are enlightening with a fact.

But if you think you're above petty details like accuracy, then I'll just have to keep an extra close eye.

Good evening.

Oh FFS he's been doing that for years. Can't the pair of you have that conversation privately instead of bringing up on here all the time? It's really pissing off the rest of the forum Laughing

Urgh.

No, that's YOUR OPINION.

I found the live feed to be interminable.

I agree, I've been happily watching Big Brother for the last 9 years without watching more than 10 minutes at a time of the live feed. I've just never understood the appeal of it, especially during the day when so much is edited out.

Granted for some it's not about the live feed, and indeed many find the live feed frustrating (I assume, unfortunately I haven't got the facts about that to hand!) but you admit there you did dip into it occassionally - as many fans did. And perhaps often occassionally sometimes in my opinion blah blah blah those few minutes watching the live feed made the difference between whether or not people watched the evening show, and hence the difference to the headline figure.

And considering you need more disclosure around here than an MP claiming for a lightbulb, my post isn't based on an assumption I know best - posts elsewhere over the last month across many forums and sites and from quite different fanbases show that the majority of fans, especially those most loyal, do not agree at all with the axing of the live feed and believe it is removing a fundamental aspect of the show - the ability to watch the house, should you choose, at anytime, day or night - and for the housemates to know they could be being watched too.

The live feed consisted of birdsong, wind and sleeping most of the time I happened across it. No loss imo.

(I guess that actually is a fact, but I'm sure Mr Scott will be along shortly to verify.)

Luckily though, you're entitled to your opinion, just as I'm entitled to mine. Or somebody else's if I feel like it - but hey, I'll let the great and the good of TV Forum try to figure out whose opinion I'm posting.

Any sane person realises it's your opinion, Brekkie, and nothing more. It's a shame some feel the need to belittle others by pointing that out, 'ad nauseam', as if we're all too stupid to realise it ourselves! Shocked

Back to the thread topic...It's certainly an interesting logo. Quite reminiscent of previous versions. I'm not sure what indication it gives about the theme this year. I'm sure we won't really know until the trailers start and we see the logo in action.

I do hope that they've reverted to basics for this series.

In reality though whatever the hype pre-series, they always admit in the end the logo actually means **** all and contains no secret meaning at all.

And thanks BTW.
