It's a good decision. BB is no longer what it is and doesn't have the same magic it once did. It should have been put out of its misery last year and went out with respectable ratings rather than being smashed even further into the ground for another 2 series'. I do think it will be relaunched in a few years time.
Axing the live feed has p*** off the few people still just about watching.
Urgh.
No, that's YOUR OPINION.
I found the live feed to be interminable.
I agree, I've been happily watching Big Brother for the last 9 years without watching more than 10 minutes at a time of the live feed. I've just never understood the appeal of it, especially during the day when so much is edited out.
Get a life..........................
The fact that you're insulting people within 2 days of being on this site is probably going to render you a very unpopular member.....................
Probably?! He's already accused the whole of Scotland of being terrorists, blamed his appalling spelling & grammar on the lack of education available for his children, and told everyone on this site to stop watching TV, get a life and go outside and get some exercise.
I don't think we're very popular with him either...
Im glad its coming to an end - it hasn't been its best since about 2002 IMO - with only BB7 keeping my interest in recent years. I didn't watch any of BB8 or BB10 at all!

I'm sure many will agree that series 7 was probably the best effort in these past few years, but nowhere as good as (in my opinion, before someone jumps at me) series 1.
As a fan, I gave up this year as this series was just creatively bankrupt, and unlike previous years where they've tried to move the format on to give it a few more years of life, this year they just went back in time - and not in a good way.
I'm convinced with the right changes and the right attitude from C4/Endemol the franchise could have been saved (or at least given a decent shot at survival) and ran beyond BB11 - but the evidence made it absolutely clear they were just winding it up this year, blaming the credit crunch for things scaled back even though we've since learned C4 pay Endemol the same and Endemol have the same staffing levels this series.
I know there's a contract, but I don't really see who wants BB11 and particularly CBB7 next year. If they really must do something, merge them into one and round it off with some kind of All Stars - but realy I'm much more interested to see what happens in 2011 rather than what BB serves up next year.
As for it moving elsewhere - C4 have achieved their goal of ensuring though they don't want it, nobody else wants it too. ITV, Sky and Five have already all ruled themselves out.
I'd imagine it'll end up on Living or somewhere airing to a very small audience
There are other questions, What will Channel 4 fill 100,000 hours of TV a year with without BB and what will be next for Davina? Her TV work excluding Big Brother has dried up since her dire chat show

I agree - I really enjoyed series 7 - I really thought they got the mix of personalities right. I hadnt really watched BB at that point since series 4 which was the one people generally think was boring. BB8 and BB10 I didn't watch any of and BB9 I started watching but gave up as soon as Dale left I think (hmmmm I wonder why that was! )
