Sounds like CH4 are losing confidence in the show...

New slots for 'Big Brother' this summer
Channel 4 is intending to be more "tactical" with its scheduling of Big Brother this summer to fend off a host of rival reality shows on ITV.
ITV is attempting to challenge C4's traditional BB-led dominance of the crucial 16-34 age demographic with the likes of Celebrity Love Island, Soccer Idol and Celebrity Pop Idol.
In return, Channel 4 is extending the length of BB to "at least" thirteen weeks and will move the show from its traditional 10pm home to different slots around the primetime schedule.
"ITV went for us last year with Love Island but I don't know that they thought it was a marvellous success," Kevin Lygo, C4's director of television, told Broadcast. "This year they'll throw Coronation Street all over the place too."

I remember reading last summers series ranked last amongst all six series ratings wise. It seems to me the celebrity edition is now more popular then the regular edition.
Personally, I'd like to turn up at the BB auditions with a muchine gun and kill the lot of them. At least then we don't have to face weeks of these wannabe ceelbs on the telly, followed by months of them poking their faces onto every TV show and on every magazine & tabloid cover. I'm sick of f**king Chantelle already.
