I can't believe how good big brothers doing during in the 10pm considering how boring itself is and Emmerdale,I'd rather watch the news

Big Brother is hardly mentally challenging but it's in the Open University League in comparison to Emmerdale, the appeal of which is entirely lost on me.

Personally I'd say the same about Big Brother. Especially every night for 3 months. I just can't work out why people get so interested in people that so often irritate them

Each to their own I suppose but if you're comparing the length of time it's on, every night for 3 months is nothing when you consider Emmerdale is on 6 nights a week all year round!

Could say the same about ITV's reality shows like CLI and Im a Celeb which are on every day for the duration of their run.

Never understood why ITV felt the need to add a 6th episode of Emmerdale in the first place, 5 is bad enough but 6 is really taking the p***. Its ruined the programme by having far too many episodes.

I use to like watching Emmerdale, but 6 episodes is too much to follow, at least Corrie and EE are not on consecutive nights in a row. I know Hollyoaks, Neighbours and H&A are on 5 nights a week but myself personally it suits those three mainly because there not in primetime zone.

Emmerdale was excellent in the mid to late 1990s, but it was 3 nights a week back then- I first stated going off it when it went to 5 a week and eventually gave up watching after 12 years, earlier this year, because it was boring.

Back to Big Brother, and I thought Glyn was hilarious in the diary room again tonight! Laughing

Im sure that area has been used to store stuff in the past series, like equipment for taks, left over stuff?

It probably has been - the last time it played a role in the series was in Celebrity Big Brother 3 when it housed a secret lift and Caprice was raised to read a message on the other side of the garden.

Re: soaps - I'm finding it very funny at the moment that all these people who are complaining about their soaps being moved or taken off due to the World Cup are probably the same ones who think they are on too much anyhow!

Emmerdale at 10pm has been one of the worst scheduling moves in ITV history though - and surprisingly moving Big Brother to 9pm up against most football matches has really worked for C4.

Big Brother does seem to have gotten a little stale this past week or two, they don't seem to be inducing as much of the twisted evil and secret missions as they have before. I'm getting a little board of Lea's moody cow impression taking up the whole show.

5 new ones should get things going but they need something else to be done to the others. I really do hope when the reveal the other house that they play the Neighbours theme tune into the actual house to confuse them.

Well it's very cosy, I don't imagine they will be in there for very long they can't exactly do much, it looks like a fairly normal one bedroom flat. Nicer design than the main house though, the kitchen is much more practical.
