Back to Big Brother - I guess it's 10pm on Wednesdays till the end of the series then!

ITV have confirmed that Nobody **** Island will begin on Monday 10th July - so it wouldn't surprise me at all if that is the day the "neighbours" move into the new house!

Is Celebrity Hate Island going to be put up against Big Brother?

According to Digital Spy it premieres on the Monday at 9pm, then airs in the 10pm slot from Tuesday.

It's success on the Monday depends how well Ant and Dec's new show Poker Face does - it's being stripped across the week Millionaire style at 8pm, so replaces the second Corrie on Monday and goes head to head with EastEnders.

On the two or three occassions CLI beat Big Brother in the ratings last year it was on Mondays with the inherited audience from Coronation Street.

They've reverted back to "Poker Face" now have they? That was the name of the pilot, but by the time they'd announced it had been commissioned they were calling it "The Con.Test"

Anyway. Who exactly are these 5 million people who are watching Big Brother? Rolling Eyes Do they leave the house? As I've yet to meet anyone but my girlfriend who is actually still watching this series. None of my work colleagues watch it, none of my friends watch it, none of my family watch it. Or are people just afraid/ashamed to admit they're watching? Laughing

How accurate are ratings from BARB. It would be good if everyone watching top programmes like EE, BB, Corrie ect telephoned a free number given out by the programme and it would take their number so no multiple votes.
Nah, maybe thats not nessecary - just stick with BARB lol

What with Big Brother, Big Brother live streaming on Channel 4, E4, E4+1, Big Brother's Little Brother, Big Brother's Big Mouth, Big Brother Diary Room Uncut etc etc, of course there's no time to leave the house, they may miss something!

Not sure what I want to happen this Friday, so haven't texted my vote yet. (I know I oughtn't waste money on TV programmes, but I'd only squander it somewhere else.)

Suzie is suppressing the energy and 'abandon' in the main house, so I would like her to vacate. I'm worried that she will spoil the nature of the new house so I don't particularly want to see her there, either.

She really is the most obvious career-seeker out of all of them, and although I'm sure she's a lovely lady, she's not particularly dynamic viewing.

I don't like Susie much (for no reason other than her being rather dull) - but it was refreshing the other day to see someone admit they were in it to get a foot in the door to TV type work!

I don't agree Rolling Eyes . Susie is a nice person, she hasn't done anything wrong apart from joining the HMs late. She is a calming influence, much as Dickie's role was at the start (although I hate him now Twisted Evil )

This is turning out to be a very good year.

And while I'm having a moan, can I say that I mentioned that there were 2 gardens in the arial pic shown on about page 10 of this thread! Shocked

No surprise! It does annoy me for things like this though as surely before the listings go to schedule they know when they are going to do twists such as this.

And Stuart - that rumour has been around so long eventually it had to come true! Anyone who knows BB knows why that second "garden" is there - it's simply the left over bit from when the garden was made smaller for BB4 and until now, hasn't been used since!

Im sure that area has been used to store stuff in the past series, like equipment for taks, left over stuff?

Actually it was me who said that.

I would have time for Susie outside the house. She's clearly quite intelligent and certainly calm.

I suppose my opinions about her are being drawn from the other housemates who feel they can't relax in her presence. Most, other than Richard, have expressed that she is "disapproving" towards them letting their hair down.

Whether it's true or not is beside the point, as they are behaving as if it is.

As nice is she is, Susie has emotionally disconnected herself from the housemates. She's said as much herself. She makes smalltalk, but nothing more.

This certainly can't sustain over the remaining weeks, unless she opens herself up to the housemates (and us).

I can't believe how good big brothers doing during in the 10pm considering how boring itself is and Emmerdale,I'd rather watch the news
