Maybe its just me but it seems the production crew aren't putting much into the show this year either. It used to be a big thing.. "What is Big Brother going to do today" etc but now its just same old predictable stuff.
Same goes for BBLB - yes, there would still be a theme running each week.. i,e 'dress like a housemate' but there would also be fresh parts to the show. Now it seems the whole show is the same week after week. Obviously I'm only talking about the Sunday edition here as I don't really watch the 7.30 E4 shows.
Probably the show is now in need of a major revamp... i.e move from Elstree and create a Big Brother village or it has sadly run its course.
Germany did the village. It didn't work as I think BB needs a definate beginning, middle and end - and spreading out over a year and more and you kind of lose all three!
BBLB is very tired - has been a while, though there is definately still life in the main format yet!
I do think though they've made a similar mistake with BB7 as they did with BB4 - so far it has failed to build on previous series in the way for example you could see how the twists in BB6 were a pretty natural development of BB5.
The twists they are doing though are pretty good - this house thing looks very promising, while the nominations punishment and the whole Golden HM thing was done very well!
Tonights episode was excellent - who said this series wasent funny! lol, no seriously it was a good episode tonight. I do think they should give the housemates more alcohol, well maybe not Glyn
Really enjoyed tonight's episode too - and as dull as we think Mikey might be, we really saw a side of him we hadn't seen before tonight.
Agree with him too about Susie - but fair play to her she was there helping in her own way (mainly following Glyn with a bottle of disinfectant!).
One thing with this house being quite bitchy is the nominations are pretty unpredictable.
As far as I'm aware everyone should be able to vote tomorrow (for the first time) - but the lines of division in the house are blurring a bit. There are also lots of little battles going on which are difficult to keep track of!
I think this is one week though when we all hope Nikki is up!
So we will never know Glyn's answer on the Meaning Of Life lol.
Well not long to go now till Friday, im really looking foward to it. Although i very much doubt these people have been in hiding since it started. Maybe the current housemates will have to choose 3 people to come back to the main house - that way there is a possiblity that the housemate we voted in, may never go back into the main house again?
The editing on last nights show about the meaning of life was hilarious. This has to be the best ever BB - although probably only second to the first in the Evil theme.
Gawd Big Brother UK wasn't even that evil in the evil year, I think the producers should take a leaf out of the Australia BB, however their house is far too big with a gym and all!
