Presumably there will be a second diary room for the new house? It is a bit unclear on that diagram.

Otherwise the other housemates will surely smell a rat when they aren't allowed in the diary room for ages.

no they are sharing the diary room thats the only part of the house that is connected. I wonder how they will go into the house as surely the housemates would hear the front doors open and close everyime?

The HMs will be in the lounge, which is pretty much sound proof.

With the second garden being so small, I doubt it's going to play a major part - I think it'll just be a case of HMs allowed out for some fresh air occassionally, but they'll be told to keep quiet.

It looks like it's connected via the hallway as well, evidently as a housemate being "evicted" through the diary room would be too fishy.

Surely sharing a diary room is a bad idea? I'm sure housemates have been able to hear people in the diary room before by pressing their ear to the door. What if they hear the "evicted" housemate? Or is that all part of the plan...?

This year's diary room has a double door, which I don't think they did in the past. I know people have tried to hear things from the inside this year, but I don't know how successfully they have actually managed to do so.

Does anyone think that five new housemates is a bit much, that will mean we will have had over 20 housemates already in this new series

Normally I'd agree with you - it'll be 22 HMs in total next Friday - but I think a major injection of new blood is desperately needed this time around!

Apparantly there will be mass evictions.

Desperately! Yes, I can agree with that. This series has been getting duller by the second. Time will only tell if they have 'saved' the show.

I agree with that. I think this is the only series I've actually not bothered to watch the highlights shows on many occasions.

BBLB is rubbish now, isn't it?

I really like Dermot, but this show just seems really self indulgent. It doesn't help with the "Quiz where you win housemate's stuff" gag sting being repeated endlessly.

I know the show is supposed be quite spontaneous, but it just seems a bit sloppy and tired for me.

its a perfect example of a programme which has just run its course.
