One thing I noticed was the housemates said "you didn't win a golden ticket cos we saw you in the auditions", and Suzi responded "we're not allowed to talk about that". Seems a little odd.

Yes, something very curious here. I think its totally unfair on the innocent public who generally just bought KitKats and found the Golden Tickets.

They've made no secret that Susie - along with several other Golden Ticket holders - have auditioned for the show before. It's not that surprising when you think about it!

I agree though it is a shame that we did get a pretty "typhical" HM - but full credit to the producers for leaving it to chance.

Re: Kit Kat. They've done well in not mentioning it - the worst offense was when BB4's Ray was on BBLB and mentioned it hundreds of times!

I know product placement is banned, but I did think they'd be allowed to mention it once or twice - after all, recently when the Chelsea Flower Show was on the BBC every programme was introduced by the presenters as "the Chelsea Flower show in association with Saga Insurance".

I think it's all down to who paid who - did C4 pay Kit Kat to hide the Golden Tickets, or did Kit Kat pay C4! Last night the News of the World got more plugs than Kit Kat!

The main problem also was the competition meant you had to go and buy a Kit Kat to enter (though no purchase neccessary of course!) - rather than a prize being supplied by Kit Kat which you could win without buying a Kit Kat.

(Though a Kit Kat is cheaper than a premium rate phone call anyhow!)

The Golden Ticket winners - did any of these actually genuinely buy a kit-kat open it up and find a golden ticket ? They all seemed like former BB auditioners, media types or had bought or won their tickets. The fact that the eventual winner effectively 'bought' her way in surely goes against the spirit of the competition.

Why did they hold the lottery in the garden with the crowd assembled outside ? Don't they play crowd noise into the house every eviction night to exactly prevent the kind of thing that happened last night ?

Just coincidence that no.14 is a previous BB auditioner, and recognised by many of the housemates, and Nikki shouted out her number before it was picked ?

Shouldn't the draw have been made outside of the house with an independent adjudicator present ?

A few things not right about that show last night I thought.

I met the girl Sue from Plymouth the other day when she was in for an interview and from waht she was saying it is purely random and fair. People paid for golden tickets, people opened bars, that's their choice.

The only thing is, that could have been fixed, were the numbers in the machine all 1-35 or were they all 14. That's the only way it could have been fixed and we'll probably not know as we didn't get to see inside the machine!

Interesting enough when Davina was rattling through the potentials throughout the show, she didn't say the truth about how Sue got her ticket....

Forget the conspiracy theories - even if the draw had been done in the studio you'd still have them. The reason it was done in the house was so there could be no influence from the outside world.

They made no secret that several of the people with the Golden Tickets had auditioned before - and that's no great surprise really as many people who found them but didn't want to go in will have passed them on to people who wanted to go in, either directly or by selling them via EBay or to newspapers.

Sometimes you just have to have some belief in the producers - and in this case I think they did exactly what they said they would do and did the whole thing at random!

They could have easily set up a scenario where the "random selection" wasn't truly random, for example having a HM "randomly" select a HM via the plasma screen, or used flashing lights which would "randomly" select a housemate!

Whoever was chosen people would scream fix - I'm sure if it had been the journalist or one of the non-typhical HMs you'd be saying the same!

Well, after her careful use of the term "chocolate bar", Davina finally made a fatal slip-up by mentioning the word "KitKat" after Suzi's number was picked (..."Suzi's husband bought 60 boxes of KitKats"...)

Product placement, methinks. Let's wait and see if Ofcom show consistency and fairness by fining Channel 4 half a million quid like they did when This Morning mentioned Safeway.

Can someone explain why Channel 4 couldn't let the word ''Kitkat'' be aired...I don't understand, when KitKat and Channel 4 were in some sort of partnership here...

As much as it's possible to dislike a person, but my god is Grace in for one hell of shock if (hopefully) she's up this week. Given all the chanting of the crowd last night, she looked totally surprised at all the "get grace out" chants. Sam came out of the house totally clean and IMO, with the bitches looking more and more bitter and twisted on the playback. With Lisa/Lea/Grace and Imogen not coming out of the situation well.

So given that, and on current form, the final few can be worked out, namely Glyn, Pete, Richard, Ashleine,Nikki and Suzie. But it depends on the nominations of course! Laughing Laughing Laughing

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: SATURDAY 10th JUNE

THE WAITING GAME
(LIVE on E4 streaming, Sunday 11 June)

From 7am tomorrow, housemates will go through the ultimate test of endurance - the Waiting Game. Housemates will each have to stand on a podium in the house and whoever can stand there for the longest time will win a prize. What this prize is will not be revealed to the housemates from the outset. Only at some later stage during the Waiting Game will Big Brother reveal that the housemate who can stand on their podium the longest will win immunity from Monday's nominations - which only new Golden Housemate Susie will be making.
A maximum time limit on the Waiting Game task will be at Big Brother's discretion.

PLUS
Later today (Saturday) new Golden Housemate Susie will be given 4 invitations for an exclusive dinner party to be held in the garden tonight. Big Brother will give Susie half an hour to decide which four housemates she wants to join her for the luxury dinner complete with all the trimmings and champagne. The housemates not selected for the dinner party will be inside, making dinner from their basic shopping budget.

So its possible Grace could be immune, if she stays on the longest

And I think Grace would be the most determined - she is in there to play the game! I think it be between her and Glyn!

How long do we think Nikki will last - five minutes, or am I being optimistic!

UPDATE: Susie has made her position clear in chosing Richard, Lea, Aisleyne and Glyn to attend her dinner party.

A good feature with details of what really is going on in the title sequence at

I don't think there's any message in the title sequence Except the words "You are being observed" and of course the logo code. Maybe we can put that theory to bed now.

I had to laugh at Lea saying to Grace tonight "You have been kind to us, you haven't been rude, you haven't backstabbed..." Oh how little she knows, although Lea herself is being quite horrid to Susie already - must be a simlar age thing in all truth.
