Well even if the format is the same, millions are still tuning it - normally when you change something that doesnt need changing - people dont like it

That survey is nothing more than ITV attempting to discredit the format - just in the way that last year everytime Celebrity Love Island beat BB (on about three occassions!), ITV rushed out a press release ensuring everyone knew about it.

If BB is so past it, why are ITV trying to do anything to emulate it!


As C4 say, the ratings speak for themselves - they are up despite increased competition and BB was hardly affected at all by The X Factor.

Big Brother is almost certainly here to stay for a few years - if C4 were to axe it not only would it leave a big hole in the schedules, it would leave a big hole in the budget too - and everything from Dispatches and Shameless to E4 and More4 would suffer for it!

So Sam has been evicted, no surprise there I dont think. The housemates have already worked out they will be getting a new person tonight because Sam only got 30 seconds not 30 minutes after the announcement to leave the house.

I want the guy from Swansea to go in, or the good looking guy who Davina said applied 3 times before. We need some good looking men in the house now Sezer is gone,and apparently this guy fancies Richard.

anyone notice the new stings with golden tickets falling from the sky in front of the house. I want the guy from county antrim to go in!!!

EDIT: Oh, I was the third. But still...interesting how this is the second year running where the third evictee is called Sam. Shabaz/Dawn/George don't count, they either walked or were kicked out by BB.

And yes the golden housemate is doing the nomination this week. Interesting interuption for the rest of the housemates.
