I'm sure they have something up their sleeve - after all they have 13 weeks to fill - but we've not even had anything minor (apart from the Brotherhood which was really overshadowed by Shahbaz) yet.

C4 now promoting the Golden Ticket show for Friday night, while on BBLB you can see they've added a seating area outside the house at the end of the crowd section.

And talking of BBLB - they did a nice tour around Nikki's poor "middle-class" home!

Making the HMs camp in big tents with special cameras inside would be good, they have to live outdoors for 4 days,3nights - get everything set up as if they were on a real camping trip - they have to use the Barbie to cook the food, keep a log fire burning, outside shower...ect

Is that figure for BBLB correct (it's exactly the same as for BB Live) - it has been getting upto 500,000 viewers most nights.

Talking of BBLB, it really is a shade of it's former self now (yet still quite watchable!).

It's bad enough that most the behind the scenes stuff has completly disappeared, but now it seems all the psychological analysis has been moved to Big Brother's Big Brain - haven't seen much of it at all on BBLB this year.

Tabloid reporter in bid to enter Big Brother house

Ben Dowell
Thursday June 8, 2006

A tabloid newspaper may win a place in the Big Brother house for the first time, after a reporter was shortlisted in the show's "golden ticket" competition

Rachel Richardson from the News of the World has made the shortlist of the reality TV show's golden ticket-holders, which is thought to include 40 contestants.

Richardson, who obtained her ticket from an anonymous source for £2,000, will join Sportsman journalist Ed Murray and Dublin radio DJ Sue Carter in the list of candidates who have passed Channel 4's security checks.

Victoria Kennedy of the Mirror was believed to have been among the final lineup, but is understood to have withdrawn today.

One hundred golden tickets were placed inside Kit Kat chocolate bars, which went on sale three weeks ago.

One person will be selected at random from those who found the tickets in a special live TV broadcast tomorrow night. The winner will replace either Nikki Grahame or Sam Brodie, the housemates who are nominated for eviction this week.

All golden ticket winners will be gathered outside the house on a stage with each potential housemate wearing a number that will correspond with the lottery ball numbers in the Big Brother garden. One housemate will be asked to pick a lottery ball, revealing which golden ticket winner will enter the house.

Other golden ticket contenders are thought to include grandmother Sue Lindsay, 50, who bought her ticket on an auction website for £600 and "Big Brother fan" Susan Carter, who found her ticket after buying more than 10,000 Kit Kats despite being allergic to chocolate.

Over the past weeks tabloid newspapers including the Sun and the Daily Star have offered to buy golden tickets should they be found by their readers.

At one point more than 20 tickets were on sale on auction website eBay, with prices reaching up to £3,000 a ticket.

The open auditions for Big Brother attracted a record 25,000 contestants earlier this year but producers of the show hope that the golden ticket initiative will attract the interest of an even wider range of people.

Sam is 1/5 to be evicted from the house with Nikki at 10/3, according to bookmaker William Hill.

I would love to go in this year, being an avid viewers its my dream, but i feel i would have the upper hand this year considering weve allready seen 3weeks worth.

I would drop little, small hints to Grace that "i know", and then would make them confess during a group discussion

The Golden Ticket winner will be chosen completely at random by the Big Brother housemates through a live lottery draw in the garden.

All Golden Ticket winners will be gathered outside on the stage, in front of the audience, with each potential housemate wearing a number that will correspond with the lottery ball numbers in the garden.

Meanwhile, in the garden, while all the Big Brother housemates are watching the action via a plasma screen, one housemate will be asked to pick a lottery ball, revealing who the next Big Brother housemate is going to be.

The new Big Brother housemate will then walk up the famous Big Brother steps before moving into the house that could potentially be their home for the next 10 weeks.

*Those of you signed up to get the BB Press Emails will also have a full set of names/description of the potential HMs, ive posted the list here...

onetrickpony:

you made a good point earlier that we already know what has happened in big brothel, sorry brother, yet the two new housemates were kept in isolation so they didn't know what was going on

your brave wanting to go in there, i'm happier watching from this side of the tv screen
