Big Brother has been very quiet himself now - no big twist at all in the first three weeks really - and as a result I think so far this series is more like the first series than any other - the HMs have been left to get on with it really!
Not sure if this is a good thing or not - I'm certainly dying for a big twist to stir things up a bit!

Yeah they have been very quite maybe they are tricking the housemates who are expecting a twist but three weeks in they might be starting to think there is no twist then bang big brother gets them or maybe they are keeping some tricks up their sleeves in order to beat CLI in the ratings war ???

I watched it tonight Tuesday and I must say, I found it rather boring really. By now, it would be pretty exciting, but with pretty boring housemates and no real twists or turns set up by Big Brother, the show seems rather lame thus far...

When people say its boring - i always ask myself what exactly are the small minority of people that say its boring want....
So far this series weve had laughs, tears, bitching, backstabing and arguments, 2 walkouts, 1 chucked out...for me personally its been really entertaining and gripping to watch.
People say "oh its boring blah blah" - what are you wanting them to do exactly, this just is not aimed at you, but to everyone who says its boring. I mean do you want them sitting around talking about Star Trek (BB4), or do you want the bitching and backstabbing, along with the laught, which other BBs have offered.
What makes a good series of Big Brother - there is not one defining answer, but so far im enjoying this Big Brother, those who are not so liking it, why not wait until the 13 weeks is up the judge.....ratings have been good, papers talking about it asusual, even my Dad is watching it and interested, i nearly choked on my cuppa when he came in from being out and said, so who nominated who, first time he had ever said that!, anyway back to the main issue, if you think its boring....go and watch Newsnight lol

Well, for example, last year things went off with a bang right from the word go, when Makosi was given the secret mission of making herself the most unpopular housemate. That happened on the actual launch night show, and I was disappointed nothing similar happened this year as I thought it was a fantastic way to kick things off.
It's fair enough to just chuck the housemates in and let them create their own drama, but with Big Brother you can never have too much drama, so surely it could only improve the entertainment factor by adding plenty of "evil" twists.

I personally think it got of far too quickly last year, like they were trying to prove - that look we can still be as good, even better than BB5....
BB7 has got of to a good start, the first week with Shahbaz was good, i am waiting for some sort of big twist.
I have a feeling the producers of BB will be wanting the Golden Ticket HM to become liked by the public and win BB, like last year with the non-celeb winning celeb bb type thing

Yeah even this years CBB worked well with Chantelle being the 'undercover' non-celebrity etc.
BB need to start doing something because we're stuck in a sort of circle situation at the moment with the housemates just backstabbing each other and its a lazy way of providing entertainment nowadays. If this was BB1 it would be a new thing etc but it isn't.
A few great highlights by BB over the past series for me have been...
- The secret bedsit
- The Saturday night live tasks and rewards
- The BBUK and Africa HM swap
and many more i can't think of at the moment.
Anyway, I'm sure BB have many ideas up there sleeve - its just a case of moving things on.
