Forgive me if this has been tackled before but what on earth is being said to require the sound to be dropped so frequently? It can't be swearing!
It could be any one of a number of things - swearing, talking about people outside the house, talking about a company/product/brand etc
The problem with BB is that unlike other programmes there are no controls over what is said - no presenter to steer the conversation and nothing to balance the content. The only way they can do it is to cut sound/pictures
I liked George. Sorry he's gone. Though I'm sure I'll get over it.
I went right off George, especially after his "top class b!tch" comments. He struck me as the same type of undeveloped man that our very own Prince Charles is. (Lets not forget Charles' conversation in the "Camillagate" tapes).
Perhaps I would have warmed to him again, but I suppose we'll never know now.
People have always threatened to walk before, but BB have normally talked them out of it. I don't think they are trying quite so hard this year to persuade them to stay, because the HMs were getting too cosy after only 7 days. It's in BB's interest to disrupt the pairings with the ability to bring in new HMs.
I don't think much of the two new ones. I suspect they will be nominated in the next few weeks and be evicted (unless, of course, they walk as well) What is the point of replacing Shabang with another gay Scottish man. I feel sorry for Dickie, he's never going to get a $h@g in there is he?
Let's hope that the KitKat HMs are more interesting. Does anyone know when they are going into the house?
I think Nikki should be up for eviction this week. She is a spoilt child who is in need of a good slap. I'm glad I'm not stuck in there with her!
Typhical. In the off-season people have been saying all over the place they want a less confrontational house after the arguments of BB6 and CBB4 - and also they want evil Big Brother to take a back seat.
He does so and - arguably inevitably - it's branded boring!
I won't deny the series hasn't kicked off with the hype of the first week of BB5 and BB6 - and Big Brother has yet to make his presence felt - but it's not been bad at all - and in fact it's been the best rating first week of all seven series.
We do need a major twist though in the next couple of weeks (preferbly before the arrival of the Golden Ticket HM) though to give things a jump start - and I do think it will happen.
Re: the new contestants - not overly impressed on first impressions, but I'll give them chance. I think it was the blokes rather than the girls who needed to be put in their place and sending in a young man would have achieved this better.
Finally, BB is still performing well in the ratings, though it'll be interesting to see the impact the World Cup has on it.
As predicted The X Factor beat Big Brother in the ratings, but IMO BB's 4.6m was actually much better than the X Factor's 5.5m and C4 will be much happier with the outcome than ITV!
This Big Brother is definently the series for walkouts! The new housemate should be Nadia! That would really tick off Grace and Sezer and raise competition with Sam!
