..when a contestant with Tourette's syndrome is picked, it is not him I'm looking down on but the motivations of those who chose the contestants. The sad truth, again, is there are plenty of morons who'll find uncontrollable fits of swearing amusing and not care about Pete as a person.

I think that has been answered, Simon.

I think they made a mistake with Shabhaz, but I don't accept they did with Pete. That said, who could have beleived that someone as outgoing/outrageous as Shabby would have been such a fruit loop.

If you know people who are sniggering uncontrolably at Pete, then that speaks more of the folk you know than anything else.

Every person I have spoken to has taken to him hugely, and I can't beleive the researchers are any different.

Couldn't agree more.

In the space of a week, I genuinely believe Pete has singularly done more to remove the stigma of Tourettes than anyone before. Through being a genuinely nice guy, he's shown that there are actually human beings behind the condition.

that was the whole point of him going on, for people to see the person behind the condition, he's not 'torrets man', he's 'pete', and I think he is doing brilliantly

my main concern for him was the others ostracising him for befriending shaz but they didn't.

i think the situation with shaz went too far with cesar constantly throwing his breakfast away and locking him out, just because he had annoyed him earlier, now who is being 'childish'.

also think the suitcase thing is wrong, BB are messing with some of their heads a bit too much

they should just go naked, they'd soon get their clothes back

The housemates finally awken after midday - Dawn said goodbye to everyone and was summoned to the DR immeditaly, taking a white bag and her toiletries with her.

Ha! That would probably suit Slezer down to the ground.

I agree about the suitcases. I could understand it if they felt that there wasn't enough excitement in the house already, but I reckon they have misjudged the group dynamic this time.

It seems a little unneccessary, as does the whole "brotherhood" thing.

Big Brother is getting more exciting by the minute. Now ANOTHER person will be brought in. One for Shahbaz, one for Dawn and the Kit-Kat person.

Apparently Dawn's been booted out for breaking the rule that housemates can't communicate with the outside world. Anyone know what she was doing?

Apparently it was something to do with this 'cause' she kept banging on about...someone over at the forums of DSBB posted this....

"Ooh news, Dawn apparently tricked BB into getting onto the show, when she really wanted to be on the show to promote her cause - which is against the rules."

What 'cause' is this then? The Under-arm Odour Freedom Movement?

No one actually knows lol....i guess when it was mentioned they put the birds tweeting on....she insisted that she would leave if she was not going to get her case, and when she found out she was up for eviction and would not get her case - she went to the DR and requested to leave we assume - so between that point and this morning - something happend

Well it seems to be confirmed why she was chucked out.,.....

From C4 BB News Article...
"The housemates seemed unperturbed when they heard the news of Dawn's rule breaking. Lea quickly brought everyone up to speed about how Dawn had devised a plan with her family and friends: if there was any bad press about Dawn, she would receive a cunning 'your sister is ill' message."
