Interesting to see Glyn there in the diary room saying how he was still having difficulties in using English fully.

One just has to ask why he decided to go on Big Brother if he isn't happy about speaking English. It was a fluke there was another Welsh speaker on the show- he could easily have been on his own (he still could be if Imogen is evicted before him). They're like buses- 10 series and not one, then 2 come along at once!

Its likely that he is from a very Welsh speaking area so he wouldnt need to use English very often in the real world. Practically everyone he comes into contact with he probabaly speaks Welsh to so no wonder he has trouble with English. He probabaly thinks in Welsh as well, like most first language Welsh speakers do.

Has anyone been nominated by every other housemate before, especially this early in the show? I think Shahbaz may be the first!

Penny was nominated by loads of the housemates for the first eviction of BB2. No idea if everyone nominated her though, but I know a lot did!

Hmm, can't say I've ever met a monolingual Welsh speaker before. Appearing on Big Brother will probably do him good, and introduce him to the real world.

Like I said, if he has trouble with English, it does make me question why he applied. It's not a Welsh language show, and it was a fluke there's another Welsh speaker in there this year, as in the previous 10 series there hasn't been a single one.

You'll find plenty who'll pretend to be monolingual though, especially if you're English. Ceritnally in my experience.

Whoo, don't know what happened there, my post ended up in the Dr. Who thread, but anyway...

I know Shazprick is a basket case, but since when did Lord Dìck become commander in chief? I like him even less then before now.

Big Brain was pretty good - how BBLB should (and used to) be!

The nicest thing though was the studio - it wasn't the BBLB studio so is presumably the main eviction studio. It's set up very similar to series 1/2 with the audience seated around the edge and has a screen in the middle - plus this year the stage is square made out of blocks!

Looks brilliant - and I hope the rumours that Davina would be presenting evictions from the studio - rather than from outside the house as in the past couple of years - are true! This studio is too nice just to be used for the interviews!

Hey Brekkie thats as exactly what i was thinking, reminded me of the early days of BBLB, this was BBLB without the games/prizes lol.

I had a friend round last night who isn't the biggest BB fan. I had to switch over as Shabby was driving us both insane.

I would sincerely love Big Brother to recant his immunity, but I suspect that won't happen.

Well, they do say great minds think alike! Laughing

The ratings held up last night as it went head to head with Soccer Aid (I think the only time it'll do so!)

Big Brother got 4.5m between 9-10pm, while Soccer Aid got 4.4m between 9-10.30pm.

However, look at the figures closer and Big Brother's victory is even clearer:

Big Brother inherited 1m viewers, had 3.9m in the first 15 minutes and peaked at 5.1m in the last 15 minutes.

Soccer Aid inherited 10.2m viewers - but lost half of them when the show began, peaking at 5.2m, with viewers turning off throughout and figures falling to 3.7m in the last 15 minutes!

Big Brain got 1.1m at 11pm, while Diary Room Uncut on E4 got 342,600 viewers - up against Coronation Street, and was E4's second most popular programme of the day behind Hollyoaks.

A question about E4's ratings - do people watching the live feed via the red button on E4 get incorporated into the programme ratings?

"Everyone's got to drink that you selfish t***!" continued the furious Lisa. Sensing a brawl, Big Brother put out a call her to come to the Diary Room "immediately". She was dragged away by Richard, still in a rage.

That article is so biased - putting the blame on Lisa rather than the one we all know is too blame!

We've seen it before - one person acts like a complete idiot (though Shahbaz has passed all predecessors), alienating themselves from everyone in the house - and then becomes branded a victim with any HM daring to stand up to their selfish behaviour branded a bully!
