Very clever ending to tonight's final highlights show. All of the housemates voices fading in and out over appropriate shots of the place where they were said, but with the house empty, Including 'Who is She?' over the big brother door. Lights are switched off and faded out ending on a quote from pete.

They have done that for a few years now i think in bb3 the done it on the final

I remember them doing that as far back as Big Brother 2

Arrow Just watched the final show on C4, and was great to see the last few minutes when the lights went out and you could hear the housemates reliving their BB moments!

Arrow BBLB is on now.... does anyone know if the show is live or was it recorded earlier today?

Not sure if BBLB is live. The garden seemed very dark but they could have even just covered it in a big black clothe.

Probably recorded because the picture that dermot supposedly took about 2 mins ago has just appeared at the end as a graphic in a frame. Unless the pic was done earlirer?

Either it wasn't live, the pic was taken earlier or it was in fact a television camera which was able to pick the shot up and turn it into that final image very fast.

They've done the voices thing since series 1 - they used to do it on the final night too, but have dropped that in the last couple of years!

This year they seemed to have far more quotes though - more HMs I suppose!

And re: BBLB - no big secret, I think even Davina's mentioned it in passing, but confirmation from Dermot they'll be back for "celeb"!

P.S. Love the rock version of the theme, and the bed used to introduce the HMs on final night.

I think it's time the theme got a bit of a revamp myself - they've tinkered with it over the years, but I think it's time for a more noticable reworking of it!

The Big Brother Drum 'n' Bass underscore has been used since BB2004, and is actually available in the request forum right now.

I love it when they relive memorys in each room then the light dims out.

My idea for a twist for cbb5 is that they put a look-a-like of a famous person and then thay have to fool the housemates that they are who they say they are, it would be uncomfortable watching if they actually met before like David Beckham and Rebecca Loos or even Victoria would be the funniest thing ever, a look-a-like pretending that why did you try it on with ma boyf

Good - but too similar to the Chantelle thing!

And I think Victoria Beckham is now probably "not famous" enough to actually be a housemate!

One thing with Celebrity Big Brother is although it's never an A-list (or B-list) cast, they do usually get the right mix of characters.
