To be honest this year has been the first for a while where the majority of the house don't get on my nerves. Grace, Nikki & Ashlene have been perhaps the most irritating this year but then again Nikki has been popular with viewers, the other two not so much.
In the end with alot of last years lot I ended up detesting them quite alot. However BB5 had to have had some of the most vialest (Victor & Jason to name two)
I disagree that this year has been a bad year for Big Brother.
In fact it's been my favourite series so far. We've had more comedy then ever, more romances than ever, more positives than ever. The housemates have been, generally,
nice people
for once. I can't remember another year when I have found
everyone
in the final week genuinely likeable. There has been much more personal development evident in the characters this year, with people like Glyn, Aisleyne and Pete really gaining something positive from the experience (and not just financially). And it's been really nice to watch. In previous years I have found it a bit depressing.
It's definitely been a good year. And the ratings prove that.
How more annoying was Nikki tonight? She has annoyed me in the past but tonight's shenanigens really took the biscuit - what an awful human being. (It's just not funny or midly entertaining anymore)
The only funny part was Glyn sitting in her bowl and laughing so much that she cracked and laughed along with him. Mikey was the only other person to make her smile aswell!

Agreed there with most (except for Aisleyne, just never could warm to her). BB6 & 5 involved constant segregation & arguments & BB4 was very dull.
However I wouldn't say this was the best, BB1, BB2 & BB3 were perhaps my favourites, although I think this year is perhaps the first in a long while where the final lot aren't that dislikable. Pete & Glyn have been characters in their own right, Nikki, whether you like her or hate her is a memorable character, Jennie is innofencive (sp), Aisleyne although not a personal favourite has entertain, if only for her silly Ghetto speak, and even I don't mind Richard. Imogen also wasn't dislikable at all, although didn't do much wasn't a vile character at all, a bit dim & vain but I'm not complaining

Please don't let Pete win.
I have to be honest as someone who has liked Pete for a long while I have to say i have gone off him a bit, mainly due to the smothering from Nikki, which has a strong possibility of been an act for the cameras, although it may be genuine.
As for the series - agree it's the best final week line up we've had (though a couple too many for my liking), and as much as Nikki is annoying me now, I'd only consider Makosi to be a better housemate!
At first I thought this year's HMs were too like BB5's bunch (I wasn't the greatest fan of the HMs that year) but the additions from the House Next Door changed the balance for the better.
It is the format that's been the let down this year. Last year they had a tight structure with regular twists, plus secret missions to fill the time in between the big twists.
There has been some good twists this year - the House Next Door didn't go according to plan, but was probably better for it, while the prison task was the best task ever IMO.
However, it's been a bit to inconsistant - and the structure of the shows could have been better. Weekly tasks have generally been on Wed and Thu, meaning for the rest of the week not alot happens (format wise).
The eviction shows also are a let down - I hoped with the hour-long show we'd get some pre-eviction features back, but no it's just highlights and phone numbers. They had been better in the last couple of weeks though with an eviction and interview as part of the hour-long show.
And I say it all the time, but I'll say it again - PUT DAVINA BACK IN THE STUDIO!
The crowd don't listen to her, she tries her best to ignore the crowd - it's pointless! Let Davina talk to the viewer - that is her job!
And finally a note on the crowd. They've redeemed themselves with the booing this year by actually cheering most the evictees. I've hated the chanting though - it gives the HMs too much info and for me ruined the Golden Ticket show!
And I really fear that possibly the most interesting interview on Friday night - Aisleyne's - may be ruined by Makosi style booing from the crowd! From today's BBLB it looks like the producers still haven't learnt their lesson and the interviews will take place outside!

I completly agree, it should be back inside, the first BB to do the final interviews outside was BB5 & was a mistake back then.
I admit as much as I might dislike a certain housemate I really do disagree with the booing every week, don't bother turning up if you hate the housemate, only the one villain ever got booed (Nasty Nick BB1, Stuart BB2, etc.) now they seem to boo near enough every female contestant with a few exceptions (Imogen this year & Shell from BB5 about the only two I can remember).
Again as with Grace, yes she is a cow but do they have to chant when she answered Davina's questions, Lea even told them to shut up
