Now what was it ITV were saying a couple of months ago - how the public was tired of Big Brother, felt it was dated and weren't interested anymore?
I'm pretty certain from reports when the current contract was signed that C4 had the sense to put a clause in the contract ensuring they had first refusal over future series!
Endemol also have a very good relationship with C4 - and I don't think they'd be stupid enough to bite the hand that feeds them!

Generalising here alot, but I bet the people complaining haven't even voted! Can you really see the same people who'd vote people out of Big Brother complaining to OFCOM! It'll just be the usual anti-BB brigade who compain everytime Big Brother pushes the boundaries a bit!

Ofcom have received over 1,200 complaints about this new twist, yet the vote has been the most successful of the series, raising £150k for charideee....
Channel 4 have also received complaints but won't release numbers. Ooh-er.

If the final week voting is vote 'to win' then the complainers could simply not vote for whichever housemate re-enters, thus helping to ensure they don't win.

I agree, but thats besides the point. They should never have put evicted housemates back in the house in the first place, the viewers voted to evict them so they must be desperate if they want to put former housemates back in.

Regardless of what reality tv show it is, you can't go around putting people back in who have already been voted out
That's like saying the public's decision will just be overruled if they end up voting out one of the most entertaining characters.
There's rumours that half the votes are fixed anyway which are obviously untrue, but this would be worse than it being fixed

Big Brother's selling point is though the rules can change at anytime - and the way it's being done I have no problem with.
I didn't want to see a repeat of the Jon Tickle scenario when the viewers chose directly who would return - with the choice being obvious. I'm also happy they are in there as a contestant, not just to provide entertainment.
The ironic thing is that most the people moaning about this twist are the same people who were moaning how unfair it was all HMs except Jayne were put up for eviction a few weeks ago, the eviction which resulted in Nikki's departure!
This in many ways is the producers way at admitting they made a bad decision that week, and give the fans the chance to over ride it. If they don't want an ex-HM to win, then simply don't vote for them!
I've got nothing against Nikki, but I don't want her back in as IMO that will guarantee victory for Pete. At the moment people not wanting Pete to win can cause an upset by voting for Glyn to win - but if Nikki goes in the "anti-Pete" vote will be split, while I don't think any other evictee would have much affect on the final.

Exactly I don't see what this complaining is about. If you don't want people to go back in then don't vote them in. If you don't want them to win then don't vote for them to win in the final week.
Its also Big Brother and people should expect to be on the end of twists even as the audience. If your mad on BB and voted to get someone out 100times then you have to ask youself why exactly you did that. You did A. Because your mad - & B. For the entertainment.
The complainers should shutup and not vote the Munters.
I can see the final three being Pete, Nikki, Ash/Glyn.
