"When we say tough, we mean tough like a prison... literally. In a double twist on Friday, not only will one pair of Best Friends be evicted, but also some of the group will be locked up in Big Brother's secret prison."

With regards to BBLB, I have to agree with Emzi's column on DS. It seems clear that as Dermot is now involved in the making of BBLB it all comes across as rushed and uninteresting. I like the Sunday show but only because, its Sunday and there's not much else on except Sport. The 7.30 E4 show's definately need to be ditched.
I reckon in later series, Dermot and Russell should work together and perhaps combine Big Mouth with Little Brother. Taking into account that Russell needs his 'own space' so to speak.

The prison idea sounds interesting, but I don't see how it will fit in with the "best friends" idea which is supposed to last all week.
However, it does say "next week" and since it was published yesterday (which is technically the first day of this week) then it won't start until next Sunday

Dermot has actually been involved in the production for three or four years now!
It's no secret BBLB is a shadow of it's former self. This year I wonder how they are filling the episodes as they have no psych analysis (all on Big Brain), no additional interviews with friends + family (they used to drop in much more regularly, not just on eviction night) and very little behind the scenes stuff.
I think Big Mouth is the best show - though I don't watch it much at all, which means I enjoy it alot more when I do see it.
I wish they'd drop the Friday night show though - Friday's should be about streaming from the house in the aftermath of the eviction, especially now the Freeview feed has gone.
My favourite spin-off of the week though is the Saturday edition of Diary Room Uncut. It's effectively an omnibus, but has quite a bit of new material - and I find it much more watchable than the main Saturday show.

Even the psych show is poor now. It used to be a Marcus Bently voiced package of stuff from the house, cut with talking heads doing the analyses. Much much better than the BBLB clone we have now, complete with (barely) whooping audience.
But on BBLB, how many times do they actually play the sting for "Win the housemates stuff"? It's usually done twice within the first 5 minutes (the point where I switch off).
Is it supposed to be ironic?
