With any luck Endemol will long be out of business by then. The only thing that would get me watching BB would be the public execution of Peter Bazalgette...
Well, actually, Peter Bazalgette has said himself that perhaps the end may be as close as BB6... http://bigbrother.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds7292.html
It's just a negative spin on a story that C4 haven't snapped up the rights to hundreds more years of Big Brother within days of the last series ending.
The current contract ensures BB airs next year, with both C4 and Endemol saying they have no plans to discuss the contract until after BB6, but often these things happen unexpectedly - after all after both the first and second series there were no firm plans for any future series.
However, I doubt C4 would want to renew immediately after a highly successful series. Now they know BB can jump back after a flop, they'll be hoping BB6 isn't too successful so they can get BB7+ at a cheaper prize than the current £10m a year they do pay.

Can't find the article, but when I was in town today I heard on the radio that Endemol believe Big Brother can remain on our screens for at least 30 more years.
Wonder if Dermot will still be doing BBLB in the hope Davina retires at 65?
