That's ok then, Nadia deserved to win really , pity though that they didn't play the closing sequence where the soundbites echo and the lights in the different parts of the house go out. By the way, I switched over to E4, the camera was on the garden and someone was rambling about on the roof.

Also loved the announcement on E4 into the next programme:

"Well, Big Brother is dead baby, so that can only mean one thing.... Friends."

Can anyone tell me what was the piece of music played during the BB best moments clips please?

Just got to say, best BB ever, followed by 1, 3, 2, and 4.

I loved Jason personally - without wanting to sound stereotyping, he had that dry, impatient wit that I think is one of the Scot's greatest traits. He is a fab guy with a sad background, and thought he handled himself very well in the interview.

But for sheer emotional value, I was pleased that Nadia won, especially when she saw her mum. There's a lot wrong with our islands a lot of the time, but I think we are one of the few peoples in the world who would embrace someone like Nadia and take her for the person first.

Roll on BB6.

Beautifully put, jb.

Would certainly agree. I quite warmed to Jason during the last few days. But to have Nad's mother there was something else - no more so to Nadia herself. Good TV.

Green Day - Good Riddance (Time of your Life)
An amazing song, by an amazing band

Fantastic series and a classic final - was anyone else concerned Nadia might not cope alone in the house?

Davina kicked arse tonight - firstly shutting up Kitten as she tried to steal the limelight, then turning to Dan and saying "Are you trying to steal my thunder - you bitch!" Brilliant.

Roll on BB6.

I think the previous years of BB have just been testers for this one.

Its been a fantastic phenomenom that grips the country.

Well done Nadia!!! Heres to BB6 Laughing

Thanks,. Gavin.

Without wanting to sound too pretentious, I think this BB was part of our awakening as a culture. I was quite homophobic privately until my best mate came out, and I realised how wrong I was about the whole thing in the instant he told me.

When I go down the gay scene up here, I never judge anyone. Outside the gay scene, I never judge anyone. Perhaps the same is happening bit by bit across the UK now?

Fantastic entertainment. This Geordie male felt quite emotional for Nadia and Jason tonight. I hope they get what they want.

But how do you top this BB? I thought BB1 could not be beaten - I was wrong. I await BB6 with interest.

What's with the "you're live on channel 4, please do not swear" stuff that Davina has been saying before they go live to the house?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that was first said by Davina near the end of Series 2 in 2001- there was a surprise eviction the day before the final, and Davina added the "please do not swear" line after one of the housemates did so.

Anyway, that was then, this is now. Or was now. A superb end to what IMHO was the best BB series ever- and I've been watching since Nick got the boot in Series 1. Question is, will Series 6 top this? Who knows!
