In all Big Brother is getting desperate for viewers and belive me this idea of two worlds will work as well as battery in a fire. It's true that there will be some conflicts over the area's by the housemates but thats all that will happen

The fact that it's under the name of Big Brother, and with conflicts it'll probably go down well with the British Public.

It's a rubbish concept and I truely do hope the english do make an effort to at least make it watchable.

If the concept was seen as horrible on the original Poland show, John De Mol and co. will not port the idea directly as that could lead to a bit of possible legal bother, so most likely will change the format to include the 'zones' if it was crap.

However if you don't like that concept, the RTE version should hopefully appear on screen this year. Contestants were invited to apply not that long ago. It should even appear on Tara!

No, the 'new' format of BB3 Comes from Holland.
Big Brother started in Holland, and then C4 bought the idea. Last year, BB in Holland developed a new concept, where the house would be split in to two halves, one is a really nice house, the other is cold, and the beds are made of straw. So it isn't based on Polish game shows or anything else, it is an idea from the dutch, just like the original BB.

The houseplan in the News of the World today suggests a traditional Big Brother, with an outside toilet, a Wet Room (it's a bathroom) and for the first time, an upstairs - The Love Loft.

Big Brother denies contestants will live in two houses

The makers of Big Brother are denying rumours this year's show will have a 'heaven and hell' format.

It had been reported there would be two houses next to each other - one luxurious and one very basic.

But production company Endemol says there will only be one house.

It is currently being built at Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire.

There had been reports that contestants would compete against each other to get to stay in the 'heaven' house in a similar way to the German version of Big Brother.

A spokeswoman for Endemol told Ananova: 'Any stories on the format of the show are just rumours as we haven't decided how the show will work this year.

'The only thing different about the new house is that it has two toilets.'

According to Heat magazine, Davina McCall has already agreed to host Big Brother 3, which begins in May.

It is thought producers are also planning a new series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Oh please God no! Spare me from this! It's touching the realms of ludicrosity. I had no interest in series 1, even less for series 2 and if they're expecting me to rake up even one scintilla of enthusiasm for series 3, then they're naive idiots! It's also a sign that Channel 4 must be short on ideas if they commissioned this pap for a third run! We'll be bombarded yet again in the press and televisions about the raunchy goings-on etc, revelations from relatives left, right and centre, blah di blah.....

Isn't television 'dumbed down' enough?
