Yep - nominations twists are pointless. It has very little effect on the show except only a select few nominate, and people miss out on seeing what the majority of housemates really think about their fellow housemates which is one of the highlights of the week for me.
Shabnam really milked her eviction for all it was worth. I had to laugh when some of the housemates just started to walk away from the door - even they got bored of her.

I really couldn't believe how crass Shabby was last night. I was cringeing with embarassment when she delayed leaving the house, and then winced in disbelief when she started dancing on the balcony (although she was possibly just moving to avoid the laser dot from the aiming sniper).
Her interview was equally embarassing. I've never seen an ex-HM so firmly inserted up thier own rectum before! (and that's saying something when you think of Shabbaz last year).
I hope her 15 minutes of fame include 14 minutes of "twittering bird and areoplane sounds" to keep her irritating verbage off our screens. What an awful, awful girl! (...and far uglier than she appeared in the house)
Charley for the chop next (and lets hope she doesn't forget any of the clothes and shoes that make her "so watchable"). There's another one with such an over-inflated view of herself it's going to be amusing to watch her crash-and-burn post-eviction.

I think Davina can safely argue that she is a slightly different league to the ex-HMs who flock to the media flame like moths (often for less than 15 minutes of worthy attention).
