Just seen Shab's ridiculous episode in the Diary Room on BBLB where she was given back her suitcase:

"Oh, I want to cry.....give me a minute....oh I really want to cry...you'll have to give me a minute....to cry"
* struggles to cry but can't *

I've never seen such a pathetic attempt to try to curry favour with the public over such a trivial event. She was up for eviction last week, and wants to avoid the experience again by showing emotion (but can't).

The whole race thing has just been re-broadcasted on Diary room un-cut. the 'N' word was bleeped out.

Why? It's not actually swearing, even if it is offensive.

Surely they come under the same banner? i.e. swearing isn't broadcast with risk to offending people?

I watched the diary room interview. She repeatedly said, "I totally understand why it is offensive", and then said "but nobody was offended".

She patently didn't understand what the problem was. If there had been any doubt as to her expulsion, that surely cleared it up.

There's an awful lot of sh!te in this thread about how "white people" suffer racism too, and to those people I would say you just don't have a clue.

If you want the best explanation of why then I suggest you watch the episode of South Park that Mr Martin suggested some pages back.

So people can't be annoyed at the fact that Charley and Nicky are still in the house despite using the same word? And people in this thread aren't allowed their own opinions? Confused
And yes, white people suffer racism too.
And no, watching a cartoon really won't change peoples views on the way Big Brother has handled the situation.

Gavin, I'm shocked that someone who normally makes intelligent and well thought out statements actually posted that.

You were clearly either VERY drunk or suffering from a VERY blonde moment..

Can we move on from the racism debate please - it's killing this thread!

So Wendy Richard on BBLB - a surprisingly good guest who seems quite knowledgeable and opinionated about the housemates. I thought she'd hate shows like BB - I'm sure she's slagged them off in the past...

... before she quit EE and realised she'll need a pay-cheque in January.

People have opinions so why shouldnt they share them on this thread. Just because you dont want a bad word said about BB.

And talk about what? Nothing of any interest happened before the racism and nothing has happened since.

Definately agree in relation to the Lesley bed thing...

... but I quite like him.

He certainly made more of an impact in tonight's show than Gerry, and seems to have a bit of depth to him too - though I guess compared to those girls, anyone would!

Definately the most interesting character in the house now - not neccessarily winner material, but I'd like him to stick around for a few weeks.

Winners dont generally have any depth to them, i think most of them exept Nadia just end up sitting on a boat and sail to the finishing post.

I'm sad that Lesley left, but we all have to remember she did want to go before Saturday. Ok she was stimulating in ways and something a little different but she was a rude woman at times.
