Only if the recipient takes offence. If they do not take offencei don't see where the problem is. I've called friends of mine some names that others would deem offensive, but because our banter is in private and among friends the context of our remarks are taken as they were intended. Lighthearted jokes among friends with no malice intended.

You want to hear some of the banter among some muslim friends of mine and myself. They give me some right 5hit and the terrorist jokes come thick and fast between us. We would never make those remarks outside of our friendship zone though.

I got the impression thet Charley & Emily were speaking as friends in the "closed area" (as if it could be) of the BB House and it's the same as a remark to a mate after a few glasses of vino - a Joke!
By "closed" I mean in private really
