It might have been an idea to evict Emily and Charley being as they both said it.
Exactly, it is very unfair on Emily at the moment...
I agree - very bad double standards.
Also, Emily said she was repeating a word which had already been said. What I want to know is why the first person to use it was not kicked out of the house too?

Immediately before Emily was called to the Diary Room Charley was talking to someone (I think it was Nicky) who also said the word.
It seems very unfair. She has used a word which has drifted into common slang as a non-offensive word within the social environment Emily frequents; yet she has been punished for it.
This smacks of the same double standards whereby Graham Norton can use the word "gay" any number of times on his BBC TWO show, but Jeremy Clarkson et al are castigated by calling something "gay".
It's PC gone mad. Perhaps we should all be provided with a dictionary of words we are allowed to used based on our sexuality and race.
Clarkson called a car a ginger beer which is offensive. Every situation is different. I think she should have been removed for stupidity alone. She saw Celebrity Big Brother and was warned about racist remarks prior to going into the house. She deserves what she gets no matter what way she meant it. Pure stupidity.
Somebody mentioned this over at DS, but it doesnt seem to be talked about much. Did you all notice that Emily kept saying brand names, to try and make sure it would not be aired?
Re: Charley and Niclky - they were quoting Emily, therefore that is not an issue. Emily was directing the comment at Charley, however innocently it may have been.
She's been interviewed on BBLB tonight - didn't really get much out of it apart from I'm sorry, I know it's offensive but... She did say she understood completly why she had to be removed and applauded the producers for showing the comment in the context it was shown in last nights episode.
Re: Caravan of Love - that's one of those rumours that almost certainly isn't true - the overhead shots revealed there really isn't room for a caravan on the site amongst the maze of camera-runs which now divide the garden.

So I am guessing this product can no longer be sold in pubs, or can only gay men and lesbians ask for it?
I'm assuming only non-caucasians are now allowed to buy "black" paint at Homebase, and only Caucasians allowed to get "white" paint on the basis they may offend the salesperson.

STUPID situation
Any racist comments aren't acceptable. Wanting to buy black or white paint in Homebase has nothing to do with anything.

The whole situation is stupid. No racism was intended. C4/Endemol have over-reacted because of CBB, yet the different treatment of the participants has been unrealistic and grossly unfair.
Either have a rule for all or don't have it at all.
