Well all that free press gave Big Brother a ratings boost last night.
10pm : 4.5million

BBBM then got 2.2million, which i think is its best to date.


So that's the second time they've used a "racist slur" to boost an otherwise dull series. They should be very proud. Wink

And people say they've run out of steam. Rolling Eyes

If people weren't interested, they wouldn't tune in to see it.


And if people were so offended, they wouldn't tune in to see it - except the OFCOM complaints brigade of course!

Never thought I would end up defending Big Brother or any of its vacuous participants, but on this occasion I happen to agree, they overreacted. Wouldn't it have been more fitting to make an example of her in the house?

They should have just given Emily a warning, they have definitely over-reacted with this situation...

The producers might as well not bother coming up with any plans of tasks, twists etc. Just have some racism and let it run on from that
