Oh the official sincereity of it all. .

just what i was about to say - the lack of cheering on BBBM, no previews going into the breaks on the main show - so insincere.

I imagine an interview will be held either by Davina on the C4 show, or on BBLB tomorrow night.

Do they do interviews with housemates who are removed from the house ?

I feel so sorry for Emily, it was clear she regretted it straight away and it was just a silly mistake. There was no racist intent at all!

But then bloody Charlie made it so much worse by keep talking about it and telling everyone..then saying "no im over it, lets stop talking about it" Why didnt she just SHUT THE HELL UP and let it go.

Another point, Charlie kept refering to herself as this 'N' word...so why can she get away with saying it!

But last year's Dawn disappeared into obscurity. She wasn't invited to the finale and made no appearances on BBLB etc.

I think it was to protect Endemol because in her eyes they were in the wrong about keeping her in their when she wanted to leave, ended up breaking a rule so BB kicked her out, even though she wanted to go.

Also, i think she tried to start legal proceedings and went on hunger strike - would you invite someome back who tried to take you to court? Razz

It'll be up to Emily I suppose - she might not want anything more to do with the programme.

Very interesting how C4 have responded this time - moving Big Mouth, the use of the website/forums etc., putting up a spokeswoman ASAP. They have been defending Emily to a large degree - made it quite clear it's the word, not Emily, which is deemed to be racist.

Yes, indeed. Does anyone feel that Emily's reaction seemed...almost staged . I know there has been some speculation about her background as an actress, which I am not relating to, but..hmm.

One thing I found quite ironic was how the BBC were reporting this and how listeners to "the BBC's black music station, 1 Xtra" were responding....

Now, surely the BBC having a "black music" station is far more of an issue when it comes to racism and segregation.

Am I missing the point in this post, surely the definition of "black music" as per the primary output of the station is merely an indicatior of the accepted terminology for the style of music broadcast rather than a pre-requisite to listen to the station in the first place?
