I'n really liking the sponsors now actually - thought they were crap when we saw them on their own, but I think they work quite well with the show.

I can't stand that Virgin Media sponsor with the Dutch girl who "can't control her mouth". Something really horrible about it.

I think they're all crap! probably the worst BB sponsor promos ever.

Agreed. What a wasted opportunity. They could have done something really powerful and graphical with that brilliant Virgin Media logo instead.

Put The Telly On
Ties in with the current state of this series so far which is equally a "wasted opportunity" considering the chosen male housemate.

I reckon the lack of males is having a profound effect on ratings.

I think Charley should be evicted first. Everything about this woman is horrific, but more specifically:

the legs, the weird boobs, her face, her hair, her attitude, her personality, her voice, her dress sense, etc.

She gives a bad name to human kind.

DAY ONE:
She’s entered the house and been booed! Get her off.

DAY TWO:
Every time she passes a mirror she stops to pose like she’s in a music video, sadly she is seeing a different reflection in the mirror than everyone else is, and the world demands her immediate removal.

DAY THREE:
Immediately all over the new bloke Zippy (or Zigzag or whatever his bleeding name is - who cares), and starting to show her bitchy ways too! Get her out now. For those who say no keep her in because she will give us drama, I think there’s plenty of drama to come from everyone else and this piece of trash does not deserve to get magazine and TV deals out of this - an early eviction will hopefully force her to go get a job instead of infecting our lives for any additional minutes!

DAY FIVE
The Charley Vs. Emily War has begun. Come on Emily, lay her out cold for us. Ah ya will!

GET HER OUT!!

Right .. So far this series I have watched: Davina walking round the house equipped with a little MiniDV cam (the £189 model we use at work as a DV VTR Wink ) and switched off shortly after the twins started squealing in delight over the house's pinkness.

The question is: have I missed anything yet ? Would my enjoyment of the series be ruined by the fact I've missed the first seven days?

Can you believe this?

Radio DJ Hannah Clarkson has given up her job - so that she can watch
Big Brother all day long. The DJ on Portsmouth-based station The Quay
left after her boss wouldn't give her the time off. "You're supposed
to enjoy the summer months and I just got fed up with the thought of
working while Big Brother is on telly 24/7," she said. "I can't bear
to be without it." Her boss Sam Matterface was not impressed. "I
don't understand why anyone would give up their career to sit in
front of the TV for three months - especially to watch a load of
mindless idiots who everyone will forget about after the summer."
Channel 4 will be thrilled. Express P25; The Sun P7

In answer to your first question - Not really. As for the second question - no.

It depends individually i guess. For me id watch BB if the house was empty thats how sad i am. For the first couple of days i thought there all going to get along and nothing will happen. Thankfully that seems to have all changed since Ziggy went in.

Lesley has got issues!! Why would a 60 year old woman want to go into BB otherwise?? She keeps trying to control people!

And Ziggy is really irritating because he loves himself way too much!! He's a ****! He looks like a guy i used to work with who was also a ****!! Plus I think he's an alien because his mouth doesn't move when he talks. He's using alien methods of communication, which is why his mouth doesn't work!! lol

I read that in The Metro this morning. Sad cow.

Anyway, I'm really enjoying the series right now. I was a bit worried after the first couple of days but I think it's great.
