Probably Health and safety states that you are not allowed to let the morons that usally enter the BB house near any cooking equipment! Or some normal person will get really pis*ed off and try to kill them all - then i would watch it ! !

That i have no idea on. I guess for the crew there will be a ban as they are at work. But the housemates - they are living in a "home" so to speak - and you are allowed to smoke in your home.

It's already been announced the house will be affected by the smoking ban, though producers have been a bit coy about it in the press release.

It could probably be argued both ways, as you certainly can continue to smoke in a hotel, however the contestants do receive monies while they are in the house (to pay for rent at home etc), so this may be construed as a work environment.
Its likely that the ban will be introduced to the house to see how upset it makes the smokers.
