Can't believe that idiotic Brian-no-brain won, he did not deserve it at all. He is a f****** b******. If the twins phone line didn't go bust then they would have won BUT I wanted Ziggy to win!

I swear there were other housemates who deserved to be called f'ing *******. But he may have been dumb (seen his auditon tape but didn't seem like that) but he made me laugh, even though this series has been crap.

Why didn't the trailer for BB9 simply say:
"ONLY PEOPLE WITH SEVERE MENTAL HEALTH OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROBLEMS NEED APPLY"

But then why else would someone be tempted to apply? Laughing

Perhaps they should be totally snobby and discriminatory about next years - no-one under 25, no-one without a decent level of education, no-one with out any life experience or without any ambitions othe rthan to be 'famous'

Perhaps it was because Brian was down to earth, sweet and sensitive. Ziggy was just some "look at me i'm in a band" geezer who played to the cameras.

illiterate morons, glamour models, gays and tw*ts who think they're more important then they actually are. If you audition you could take half of Metropol with you. Rolling Eyes

This is a highly convenient result for Channel 4.

A series of Big Brother - the second in a row to be dominated by racial controversy - crowns its first black winner, defying all the predictions. A black man has as much right to win as anyone else but it seems too much of a coincidence that a series almost brought down by a racist incident should end up with a black winner.

BB is hardly reputed for its positive portrayal of black people. Of the two black contestants this year; one was a loud-mouthed, offensive bully trading on her famous cousin's name and the other was the missing link! It's as if the problems earlier in the series led to the result being rigged in Brian's favour, on the basis that ANY black winner would make C4 "look good". In which case, the real racist is Big Brother.

Hehe. That is true, but you can hardly blame the programme makers for portraying them in that way, that is the way they act and they've no-one to blame but themselves.

BB has had positive role models from all sorts of minority groups in the past

With all due respect, Nick Harvey doesn't strike me as a 'glamour model'. Wink

Anyway, I would have liked Carole to win - ok, yes, she was a miserable backstabbing old fart at times but I think she could have done something sensible with the money out of who was left.

All the more unfortunate they couldn't find any this year then. What utter hypocrisy that they should kick out a girl for using a racist word but then took no steps to find some black contestants that people would warm to - especially given the amount of new contestants continually being added.

They even hero-worshipped Charley for all the wrong reasons and she was probably being primed to win. Yet the public decided to vote her out and once that happened C4's hands were tied - not to mention their plans were in ruins.

If Brian isn't being used as the pawn in C4's fightback against Emily, then C4 must be priming him to be a male equivalent of Jade given his (seemingly) low intelligence.

that makes no sense whatsoever

Put simply, C4 wanted to appear to be taking a hard line against racism, yet the only two examples of black housemates this year were hardly presenting black people in a good way. One a bully, the other thick as a plank. They didn't practice what they were preaching.
