Like last year's Big Brother, this one is on too long. 13 weeks is such a long time. Also, the highlight programme is far too long especially when it's boring. They should cut the length of the show to 9 weeks and reduce the nightly highlight programme to 35 minutes.

It seems that a lot of the "twists" if you can call it that have been taken from BB6, or at least the theme of it..... the fake stuff, money giveaway, HMs choosing eviction etc.

They should never have brought it back for this year, a year off would have been good after the race row.

I agree, a year off would've been a good idea. They could've used the time to think up some good ideas. The tasks this year have been pointless. Last weeks eviction was a shambles because BB decided who was up anyway. The appointment of "gurus" was just an excuse to save certain people from eviction for another week. If they thought for a moment that Brian was at risk he would've suddenly become a guru.

I seem to recall last year one of the producers or similar saying/admitting that the series was too long. So it slightly surprised me that this series was longer.

I agree with comments that they need to come up with some new ideas. Maybe they could try starting the series with two 'separate' houses within the main house, different to series 3 in not being able to see the housemates on the other side. They could then somehow merge the two houses at some point during the series.

I've no idea of the practicalities however it would be different (I think). Whilst they have had some different ideas this series some aspects of it are becoming rather predictable. Adding in additional house mates late on seems to strike as "we're desperate to liven up the house and improve ratings".

They should try a 12-week series with a divided house.Week 3 they merge them.
Week 7 they introduce 4 new housemates and when they do,make it really,REALLY spectacular.Like set off a siren with some explosions going off and they all come running in through the door.

If they can afford all that. Laughing

If it's true, I hope they send in a Pete Burns type celebrity to rip her to shreds. Razz

Richard Madeley's children are hosting Big Mouth tonight. They were on Little Brother with Dermot earlier and Jack is exactly like Richard in terms of the same hand gesturing etc.

Surprise surprise. Charley is to get her own TV show.

Can someone please explain why we are hero-worshipping this talentless, foul-mouthed bully?

>.< Why do all reality TV "Stars" have to get given shows nowadays? Whatever happened to using proven or properly auditioned(for that type of show) stars?
The only one that was ever any good was probably that Brian guy from the 2nd or 3rd BB who did SM:TV for a while
