Who are you? Ofcom? I bet Channel 4 were s h itting themselves at the thought of you taking away their broadcasting licence because they aired the word s h it at 8:35pm on a Friday night.

But seriously - it really wasn't anything to fuss about in the first place. Ofcom wouldn't care about it.

I *think* it's a Big Brother academy this week, though I only caught the end of the instructions being read. Another new set of furniture in the house, making it look posher. One of the housemates has already compared this weeks task to 'Ladette to Lady'. Maybe during the week BB should teach them how to use the washing machine, and tell them where it has been all this time.

Do you watch BB 24/7? And i thought i was obsessive Razz

As the end of Big Brother approaches, it's time for housemates to learn how to be true ladies and gentlemen by attending the Big Brother Finishing Academy.

For this week's shopping task housemates must brush up on their manners and etiquette in preparation for THE event of the season - the Big Brother Ball.

In order to win a luxury shopping budget, housemates must pass a series of tasks that will improve one's etiquette, table manners, deportment and elocution.

For the final challenge housemates will have their new skills tested at a formal evening of dinner and dancing.

Over the next few days housemates will learn various elements of social etiquette in an attempt to banish cursing, social disgraces and unacceptable table manners and give housemates some airs and graces.

If the housemates incur less than five fails for the duration of their time at the Big Brother Finishing Academy they will receive a luxury shopping budget.

Housemates will be tested on:

" Elocution
" Deportment
" Ballroom Dancing
" Dinner Etiquette and table manners
" General etiquette and manners

Brian just proved Big Brother wrong with a wrong answer. He asked BB when Neighbours started, given the answer Christmas '85, when Brian said that it began in 1986 making BB wrong.

...It began in March 1985. Rolling Eyes

Umm No... (As if I should care) Brian specifically said when did it start on BBC1 .

The correct answer is indeed 26th October 1986. Brian got it one day out but no-ones gonna die because of it.

I can't take much more of Carole's tearful arguements. Get a grip woman!

Remember her audition tape... "If people want an arguement...here's the f**king arguement!"?

Trouble with Carole is, she's trying to make the best for everyone else but also wants twice as much for herself.

Has anybody given up on this totally sh i te series of Big Brother? All they seem to be airing is the ridiculous saga between Amanda (?) and ''Bri.'' Totally pointless desperado, I don't want any of them to win the money. I'd rather it was all a joke.

It's become tedious and painful to watch. They need to pull the plug, and quick. The format has become worn down, even the Big Brothers seem bored and overworked now.

I think the problem is the housemates. Almost every one of them is stupid with no hope in life other than to win the show, and I really don't want a stupid person to walk away with £100,000 in their pocket. And producers simply can't attempt to find more exciting housemates, because you end up with people like Shanessa or Shahbaz, who are either tacky and become dull, or complete fruitcakes who marr the show because they need psychiatric help.

It's time for BB to say Bye Bye.

There weren't that many people watching anyway. This year the show has only broken the 4m barrier on a handful of occasions.

They messed around with the timeslot when it began in May, they started the series with only female housemates..that wasn't the best of starts and throughout the series they've constantly run out of ideas to keep the show watchable.

The only thing this series which has been just of interest was Thaila Zucchi as Pauline and the whole fake week - and even with that they had the opportunity to expand and make far more interesting but alas no, they decided to tell Brian she was fake and the whole idea just popped like a balloon. Even the fake eviction was then pointless.

What I've noticed is that BB will now change or intervene the moment something becomes interesting in the fear of getting struck down by viewer complaints and Ofcom etc. This is a quarter of what is eventually destroying the whole Big Brother format.

There isn't much left of the show to be honest - its become riddled on the housemates frustrated gameplaying modesty and pointless twists repeated week after week. C4/Endemol realise this so just end up throwing in new housemates as a last ditch attempt to try and keep the show fresh and keep that "surprise" element going - except even this makes the viewer feel alienated and just gets boring.
