Well whatever the Gurus were going to decide I think it was very magnanimous of Gerry to insist that he was evicted rather than Carole.
He actually got a good welcome from the crowd (and mocked the "wolves" too). He did a very good interview with Davina, his comments were witty, intelligent and meaningful.

nonsense. he was just trying to save face before his (inevitable) eviction. pretending to 'want' to be evicted in one of the oldest tricks in the book.

Yes, but when there are 5 people to play that "reverse psychology" on in the space of 2 minutes I don't think anyone would risk it. Considering he wasn't going to be evicted in a straight vote anyway (Carole 49%, Gerry 25%) if he wanted to stay he would've just stayed quiet.
The twins, Ziggy and Brain would have wanted him to stay.

49% is quite a large percentage, considering it was a six way vote.
And if you want a laugh before tomorrow morning, check out the current cover of the ever-reliable Daily Star.

I concur.
There must surely be an eviction on Wednesday next week and two next Friday to get it down to 6 for the final week, then another the following Wednesday.
There are far too many people in there. Only one less than actually STARTED in the first BB.
If they bother to run a BB9 then at least do it over 2-3 weeks instead of sending us all into a coma for the additional 10.
EDIT:
How come Gerry mentioned the money. I thought they all believed that Liam won it anyway. I probably missed them being told that it was still available during the 7 weeks of boredom when I skipped through the programme and watched the adverts instead.

They were told about the money during the BBTV task - I don't think any of them were that surprised anyway.
This series is awful - roll on August 31st.

Watched the eviction show for the first time in ages last night. Listening to Daviney read out their numbers for eviction i thought she sounded like a Bingo caller. Unfortunately i fell asleep before the results. I had a wkd dream about Daviney and 2 fat ladies though having a gang bang with a couple of cuddly monkeys in the diary room.
