I am now watching regularly - having not enjoyed the first half of this series at all.

Really couldn't be bothered with the half way housemates. Total waste of time considering the public was never going to warm to people coming in so late.

That said, I'm not sure how they would have filled the last month without such a significant twist.

I don't think this series is boring, as in the term there is nothing going on. I think its a case of the producers just churning out the same old sh*t every week. They should have put BB to rest after Celeb BB, and bought it back next year.

I disagree - I've found it to be very dull.

I also agree with that article about the evictions being pointless. They really, really are. The whole series has been a shambles. The sooner it ends, the better.

Personally I think the Producers are probably kicking themselves and trying to find ways to get the excess HMs out, hence the "all for eviction/guru" thing.

don't know if this has been mentioned but on BBLB tonight the insider revealed that the 3 housemates that are gurus at the end of the task will jointly have to evict one of the remaining housemates face to face live on air on friday

seems a way to spice things up... very much like they do on the US version of BB

But its not dull in the sence that they are not doing anything surley? Its the tasks that are dull, IMO.

What are they doing that's so entertaining?

And what an 'original' twist - it's basically just a blatant copy of what they did in BB6.

Well i know its not on the same level as other years, BB6 was my fave. I'm glad this years hasent worked out ratings wise because it means they can go for the big change next year, well lets hope so.

They're not doing anything we haven't seen before. We've seen it all in BB5..and 6..and 7. Unless you've got the memory of a goldfish (or a soap fan) it will be all new and exciting to you. The only differences between each series now are the oh so hilarious wacky costumes they wear. Everything else is the same - the twists, the housemates, the tasks, the racism rows, the fixes and the story-lines Rolling Eyes

Well, Soaps are equally as guilty of churning out the same old story lines and 2D characters. Both genres must have the same fan-base.

I take it your not keen on soaps then?

I know people who watch Big Brother and don't watch soaps or vice versa.
