I liked Brian when he first arrived in the house, but the "Brain-drained" image of someone with the intelligence you would be embarassed to say even passed through to Year 3 is wearing so thin it makes me cringe to watch.
C4/Endemol have made a mess of it again. Please, no more additions to the house. Just get rid of them now down to the right number for the final week - you might get some more viewers then. Otherwise you are in danger of ending up with a larger number of HMs/crew/staff than is actually watching.
Noms-showing related twists are so boring - they always just savage the integrity (for what it is) of the show's concept, and are the laziest ways to try force some conflict into proceedings. Moreover, it's not particularly fun to watch.
I suspect being allowed to discuss this week's noms is an attempt to pilot test how removing that rule could work in practice (I've rambled a million times before about why I think they need to do this)
Also, just me or has Gerry been getting particularly irritating over the last few days? Not sure if seeing some sort of intellectual competition in Jonty is threatening his perceived superiority.
Oh, I did love Liam's words of tongue-in-cheek wisdom that they only seemed to realise how close a group they are once the new people came in (assuming that's a reference to the over-used and generally BS excuse many have been using).

The repeat of BBLB on Channel 4 this morning had a very strange edit. It was about 4 minutes in, just after the BBLB News.
On the 'live' E4 version on Friday, Dermot introduced Ewan Macintosh (or "Ewan Macintosh - AKA Keith from The Office" to give him his full name) and the camera did a whip pan (I think thats what its called, the camera moved quickly from Dermot to Ewan Macintosh).
On this mornings repeat, they cut out the whip pan. Why would they do this? It makes no sense. I can't believe it was done for time (it saved all of 1 second).
Anyone else see it and know why it happened?
EDIT: Just watched this again and in fact, it didn't save anytime at all. They stuck a shot of the audience in place of the whip pan. The thing that made it an obvious edit is that they used the sound from the audience footage instead of the sound from the original. It makes even less sense. Please tell me someone else saw this.
EDIT: Although no one seems to care about this, the E4 repeat of BBLB used the same edited version as Channel 4 used this morning.

Maybe we could have seen something we weren't supposed to see during the whip pan, like something on a monitor in the gallery, or a prop for a forthcoming task (even though I'm guessing it would have been very blurred and only there for the blink of an eye).
Several times in the past BBLB have given away forthcoming tasks and hidden rooms, etc, by inadvertently giving a glimpse of something, and some eagle-eyed viewer gets a screengrab and the next thing you know it's all over the internet.
It only has to be on screen for a split second, and you can guarantee that someone will spot it.

Looking at the episode on YouTube (around 4:40), there doesn't appear to be anything to hide. The only thing worth noting is a cameraman running in the background.
This morning the in BB house with the place going for a wooden feel. The sofas have been replaced with wooden benches, the dinning table is now a wooden table. Outside is currently locked though there is a wooden sculpture outside I gather. Rather amusing watching Carole talking to herself predicting the reaction of some of the other housemates when they see the changes.
Housemates have now been woken up, and have been told they have 30 minutes to pack their suitcases leaving only enough clothes for the next 2 days. I think Davina hinted on Friday's BBLB that losing this week had higher stakes for housemates.
Mind, Body, and Soul discipline testing. For each task one housemate will receive 'guru' status and once they get status they're not longer required to take part in tasks except for 'the circle of life'. If I recall the three gurus will be exempt from nominations/evictions this week. There's the usual 'five fails' and get basic rations.
