I was reading that the Halfway Housemate who was visiting the main house at the time informed Chanelle that basically we should not be booed etc, do you think that swayed her to stay, or it was all one big joke on Chanelles part?
After Chanelle left she actually came back into the house to get her teddy and then returned to the diary and then return again! She is still in the house waiting for her parents to arrive.
Oh that explains the confusion. I looked at the BB website and it said she left, then on the live feed she was still there.
I can't believe what has happened. Endemol or Channel 4 HAVE gone too far. They announced she had left and they kept her in the house instead of taking her out of the house. What a farce. It's a total fix. If, for example, one of the halfway housemates had wanted to leave, producers wouldn't keep them in the house the way they did today.
Yet again, this nasty little programme manages to outdo itself. It seems a vulnerable teenager has been coerced into staying when she clearly doesn't want to, "talked round" by worried programme bosses in a ratings panic now the so-called "star" of the show has departed. Yes you could argue that those who choose to participate in Big Brother do so with their eyes wide open and they should be aware of the consequences - fair enough, that does not absolve the programme makers of a duty of care towards the contestants.
As for Charley, anything that a tabloid newspaper prints has to be taken with a pinch of salt but if she really is the sort of person that the Sunday Mirror made her out to be, then she is a nasty piece of work. But in this celebrity-obsessed society she is REWARDED for being like she is, even signed up by Jonathan Shalit. I can understand why Charley might appeal to Shalit - he seems to like bullies, after all he is one himself (he sued Charlotte Church when she was just 14).
That fire alarm incident was a bit concerning. Jonty looked very angry when it went off because I think he was about to have a conversation with his teddy. And Brian seemed to react to the alarm a bit too quickly, shouting "shut up" in a few milliseconds after the alarm went off.

Concerning?
As for reaction times, it was an edit - and in trying to fit two days into one hour, it's quite hard to justify it making much of the final cut.

I want her to go, she's a pain in the Arsenal. Imagine Nikki without the millions of viewers backing her up.. you get Chanelle.
But the violin incident was unforgivable.Did you know that it reminded her of her mother, who's dead? That's why she didn't want to play it.
How? Chanelle was only several months old when her mother was killed, and had no relationship with her, as she was in prison? If it reminded her of her mother, then I'm sure Chanelle wouldn't have persued a grade 7 exam in the instrument...
