They've simply outgrown Elstree - or the current house at least. They were using virtually every inch of space available last year to incorporate the House Next Door twist - and the reason the main house seems to get smaller most years it too make room for these hidden extras which are needed for the big twists.
Eviction wise though it'll never beat Bow, that's not the main issue. BB3 & BB4 have shown evictions can be done alot better on the current site. In regards of actual studio space etc. Elstree wins hands down!

*IF* the £1m prize rumour is true, perhaps they'll keep messing around with the prize fund this year like they did in BB5 when they linked the total prize to various tasks and twists, and Nadia eventually only got £63.5k.
The only other time I can recall them doing this was in BB6 when they gave the first person to come to the diary room (Eugene) the choice of snatching 50k on the spot or letting the final prize double to 200k (one of the best twists ever in my opinion).
Generally speaking, though, BB hasn't made much mention of the cash prize to the housemates, but I think with £1m up for grabs they could really milk that to the max, WWTBAM-style.
