Yes. That was a little odd. The whole thing was pointless really, I don't think it worked as well as it could have. We'll have to ait until the next highlights show to see if it had any effect. The best part of the evening was seeing Charley booed and heckled, then returning to the house telling her housemates about the huge banners or support!

the whole fake week was a bit of a let down, to be honest. The actress who went in only provoked a few grumblings before leaving on a crap premise (randomly picked as 'most fake').
The plane flying over the house was pointless, and tonight's eviction was a total anti-climax - they should have just treated it as a normal eviction night. I'm sure Charley would have been less guarded than she appeared tonight.

Correct, the signs being up whilst Charley exited were 'This is not an audience'. I guess the interview wasn't too probing as the producers probably weren't too keen on an instant brawl/fight on there hands, so opted to keep the interview fairly light.
It looks like the only argument last night caused by the interview was between Chanelle and Ziggy. http://insidebigbrother.net/article/bb894.html

I liked the bit when in the 'interview' Davina kept saying look at the screen 'NOW'! in a sarky way!
If Charley had not decided to go back in, but ofcourse she did... then it would have really been a proper eviction.
They could have atleast given her a few minutes with her friends or family that were there - it they were that is.
Anyway... Who's going to go on Friday? I reckon they'll all evict Charley (again)!!! She has to go sometime!

The legacy of the actress, the fake plane and the fake eviction will be that HMs in future series will be constantly expecting these kinds of things to happen, and won't be particularly surprised when they do.
This is a big problem which threatens the future of BB, because they've come to rely on twists to keep the show alive.
Where do they go from here?

Why is this a problem? The housemates always expect Big Brother to do things that they have already done. When it was just woman they thought there was another house with men in it, when people get evicted there is always talk of them coming back or not really going. In future series, housemates will speculate about fake evictions, so what?

Well, virtually all space has been accounted for, but I imagine Pauline's quarters from last week will be used again in some form - and it's that area which would lead onto the secret garden anyway.
There is also a secret area off the bedroom which the HMs actually saw the other day - and as it wasn't covered in the highlights it's fair to say it was an accident and not part of Fake Week.
Talking of Fake Week, last night's fake eviction had the desired effect with the show getting by far it's best ratings since launch night - 4.7m (21%) at 8.30pm and 5.4m (25%) at 10pm.

Was that when Ziggy, Amanda and Tracey were cutting grass in the checkered area and Ziggy saw something through the mirror glass?
