Hopefully Chanelle stays - most people wanting to evict her seem to want to do it to punish ZIggy, but seem to fail to realise that Ziggy will probably find life in the house much easier without her.

Yes, I think everybody handled it very well.
Surprised about who was up but glad Nicky escaped as I was sure they'd all go for her, but it turns out only Gerry wanted her out (and I'm not surprised about that one at all). I don't mind Laura tbh. I think she's quite funny at times but of course she's turned out to be a right bitch. Chanelle's popularity completely bemuses me however - all she seemed to do tonight was act like a spoilt brat. If I had my way I'd boot both her and Ziggy out. They're both in that so-called relationship for personal gain - there's nothing real about it.

Your last point probably answers your question about Chanelle's popularity - people feel sorry for her and the digs at her "relationship" with Ziggy - which inside the house anyway is based on little more than jealousy rather than proof. How does Laura know how Ziggy behaves outside the house and who he goes for?
Chanelle though has probably been the star of the Diary Room so far this year - though now I'd guess Brian is taking over. Laura can be quite funny, but you just have to slow her down to 425 words a minute to understand her!
