Yeah, very sloppy. I don't know how the ident order works but the last slide before FNP would have been the programme listings so a poor excuse for a technical fault.
Even just a few days ago I would have completely agreed with you, but I do think the show has moved on a bit this week and other characters are now beginning to emerge, so I think losing Charley in the next couple of weeks will be less of a problem than it would have been in the last couple of weeks.
I'd personally rather have Laura out first though I think - if they can get her out of her bed!
Which characters exactly? I think the twins and Brian are good value but none of the others do anything for me tbh. I unashamedly like Charley, if not just because for me she makes good TV. I grinned when there were some people chanting to keep her in tonight. She's undoubtedly the biggest character in there and I think it could be to the detriment of this tediously long series if we lost her too early.
Like Nikki last year though, Charley has her use by date and I think we're getting close to that now.
Brian and the twins definitely beginning to develop now, while there are other interesting storylines developing - most notably Liam and Nicky, which has not only shown us a different side to Nicky, it has the potential of showing us a different side to Nicky when at some point he's going to have to re-enforce her hatred of men.
I expect Nicky will be out by the end of the week. Big Brother is out to get her, similar to what they did with Aisleyne last year. Yesterday they totally stitched her up with a nominations talk task where basically Big Brother read out quotes from people talking about nominations without telling them who said what. Many of the quotes were from Nicky and some of the housemates attributed Charley's quotes to Nicky - conveniently housemates such as Ziggy and Chanelle who are also guilty of talking about nominations were left out. This coupled with Nicky's eagerness to find out who nominated her (understandable since BB decided to tell housemates that she would have been up had Billi and Charley not been punished) then people are going to become suspicious of her within the house and thus nominate her again.
BB also seems hellbent on saving Charley (once again, understandable as she seems to be one of the few that is holding this show together) which means they'll be quite happy about sacrificing Nicky. I may sound cynical but it's all in the editing - Nicky comes across as quite a happy person on the live feed yet the negative aspect of her behaviour is forever focused on in the highlights. I'm a Nicky fan but I can't see her surviving for much longer.
