Could this be the last series of Big Brother?. I dont remember Davina saying "See you next year" or something like she normally does or do we have to wait for the BB logo to appear onscreen for one second during an advert break next year to tell us?.

It is coming back. Endemol signed a deal with Channel 4 until it reached Big Brother 12 IIRC.
Last year Davina didn't say "See you next year" and Dermot didn't on the BBLB reunion party
And I think the contract with Channel 4 runs until 2006 (BB 7) so Get counting down till next years now!
Channel 4 have signed a contract for two more series of BB, BB7 and BB8, I think this includes two mores series of Celebrity BB as well. There will be no BB6 DVD this year, just the book, although as part of the new contract, a DVD should be released for the next series.

I thought this would happen, but there was no offer today, and they were advertising classic episodes of tv shows on DVD from Monday, so it seems that The Sun didn't get the rights.Did any paper get the rights?
