A break from tradition this year . . . no echoey voices and all the lights in the house going out sequence.

Strange.

They didn't do that last year. They now do it on the final highlights show (which will be tomorrow).

Didn't they do it at the end of the final on Big Brother 1?

Well I have to say it's been a great Big Brother this year, one of the best. My highlight was Craig annoying Anthony on the drunken night. Bring on next year!

What happened to Davina's traditional farewell message by the way?

PS, for anyone who is interested, after the show I flicked to 705 and caught a nice little colour card with 'Big Brother' written over it. It got turned off pretty quick (within 2 minutes) and now the screen is blank.

Yes, but as previous posters have already said it was changed a few years back.

Yes - very unfair on Makosi...she's provided a lot of the entertainment this year and all the crowd do is boo her and shout off off off. I expect this is the first time this has happened on the Live Final as normally, the last 4 in the house are the most popular ones?

I hope Makosi bounces back form this setback and I hope so see her a lot more in the future, along with Derek and Maxwell!

Two quick points:

1. Anthony is the first winner who was booed by the crowd when he entered the house.

2. Davina asked Eugene why nobody had been in the treehouse/snug thing for ages.
Eugene had to explain to Davina that it had been closed off for a while because of a problem with the microphones in there. Shame nobody told Davina.

Personally I thought BB was absolutely brilliant this year. Eugene was the real winner.

My Top 5 housemates:
1. Derek - absolute legend, but ghastly!
2. Science - power to the people!
3. Eugene - Thank You!
4. Maxwell - popular in my neck of the woods...
5. Kemal - visited the charity shop for tonights show...

There you have it, Anthony doesn't feature in my top 5, basically because he's just your typical BB winner, and I think it should be abut character now, hence Derek as my personal favourite!

Who was your winner of Big Brother 2005?

Has to be Eugene! He was just hilarious and actually was nice to everyone.

Closely followed by Derek - legend! Then I would say Maxwell - nice guy, brought a lot of entertainment to the house.

Bring on Celebrity Big Brother!

Tonight's Big Brother Final was unforgettable! Kinga deserved to be in the final four, I felt she was very genuine and sweet + certainly woke up the house on her entrance. She's just mad! I'm so glad Makosi got kicked out third. I really had no time for her and she had some nerve in her interview. "I have no regrets" - ok, so you don't regret bitching and being nasty about people, backstabbing your mates like Kemal and Vanessa, and lying about being pregnant with Anthony's child. Did anyone see the look in Saskia and Vanessa's faces when Makosi was speaking to Davina? I sense an after show bitch fight! Makosi is the biggest liar and fake ever to walk through the BB doors - IMO. Eugene - he is just fantastic. He again is genuine and just went in there for a jolly good time. I'll never forget when he made the signal noises and then said "hello" - hilarious! I thought the show ended fairly - both Eugene and Anthony got £50k each,

BUT the best man won. Anthony has been a fantastic housemate and I loved the clips in his interview when they compared him and Craig as husband and wife. Anthony and Craig really brought the humour into the house over Craig's fascination with Ant. But I can see them being mates for life.

Really sad to say goodbye to BB6 - been a great series maybe not as good as last year but will sure miss it. Let's hope we'll see him return next year.

Before I go -

FAVOURITE 5 HOUSEMATES: BB6

1 - Anthony
2 - Orlaith
3 - Kemal
4 - Vanessa
5 - Mary

FAVOURITE 10 MOMENTS: BB6

1 - Eugene's "hello" signals in the diary room
2 - Kemal's "magazine deal" confrontation with Saskia + Maxwell
3 - The housemates vote Vanessa off - in front of her face!!
4 - Derek's "lady is not for turning" and warming up to Kemal on the dating task
5 - Craig plays nurse to a vomitting Anthony
6 - Orlaith, Eugene and Kinga - the secret garden housemates
7 - Roberto throws food over Maxwell
8 - Mary's witch birthday party
9 - Makosi lies that she is pregnant
10 - Kinga failing to get on the bull

Very Happy

Well, I certainly think this has been by far the best series so far - and Anthony is certainly my choice for winner so I'm glad he won.

However, it was the worst final ever!

Every year I say the crowd should be axed as their booing spoils the evictions, but usually the atmosphere at the final changes my opinion. However, tonight they acted appallingly.

Yes, Makosi was two faced - but no more than Derek (who got cheered last week). Makosi though was a fantastic housemate, argubly the best ever - and it certainly the HM who will be remembered from this series.

Her interview was set to be one of the highlights of tonight, but the vile crowd completly ruined it. They made it difficult for Makosi, for Davina and especially for the viewers at home!

Eugene gave a good interview, but Anthony's seemed to be very short. Having seen how long it took him to decide his favourite colour in the diary room I didn't expect words of wisdom, but he seemed to get less time than Kinga who's been in there just two weeks!

The highlights package was good - but the ending was appalling. No presenting the winner with their money, no real sign off from Davina and no echoing voices of the HMs as the lights are turned off (IIRC they do a short version on the final with a longer version the next night!).

And they could hardly say they ran out of time - BB went off air at 11pm, ten minutes before the next programme!

The strange thing then is that the highlight of tonight was the 30 minutes between the two shows. 8 out of 10 Cats was BRILLIANT!

P.S. Always question +1 channels, especially on Freeview, but for someone like me who keeps missing things on the live feed, E4+1 has been brilliant. Watching the final now from inside the house - but they cut to the ads as the winner is announced! It just shows how much Anthony appreciates it!

How could I forget about Lesluh's comments about herself...

"I don't need anyone to tell me i'm good looking, I know i'm good looking. I have guy's falling at my feet!".

Yes Lesley...
