Ok mods . . . feel free to lock this thread or stickify it at your discretion, but since there's been no
sign of any sticky of official thread in time for the start of BB6, I think I'll start this one right here . . .

First impressions so far . . .

Arrow Brilliant new title sequence, probably the best yet.
Arrow Fantastic new look house, both inside and out.

But with regards to presentation, BIG Brother is perhaps one of THE most technologically advanced
shows on British TV, yet they still haven't gotten around upgraded the whole thing to widescreen yet!

Like I posted in the other thread:

A posh, black, fox-hunting, Thatcher-loving, homosexual.

At least they can't say they have left out any minorities. Very Happy

And someone who hates intellectuals.

And that Maxwell bloke . . . a chav with a double barrelled surname - there's a first!

Great titles, very different and to be honest the whole presentation is very, very different to anything we've seen in previous series. The opening titles are brilliant, and the house just looks fantatsic.

EDIT: Mods please make this a sticky! Very Happy

Hi,

at the end when the credits were on, it said a vision mixer (which i know what 1 is) but there was also a screens vision mixer. What's a screens vision mixer? Also what's a viz operator?

Thanks

As I said in the other thread (as I'm not sure which is the sticky thread yet) I agree, the titles were superb - the best yet....nice to see that the theme tune remains unchanged from last year. And all the women in the house this year are all good looking!

Always a good thing that! Laughing

Saskia especially! She gets my vote! Laughing

Those titles seem pretty scary though! Especially with that hand reaching out yearning for freedom? Very novel. Don't know how that separate lounge is going to work though. But it all looks very promising. Just wish E4 was free on Sky as it is on Freeview. Suppose I'll have to wait until tomorrows Channel 4 highlights! Crying or Very sad

I'm surprised Sky didn't follow suit and put that on the basic package or whatever it's called, don't have Sky so I wouldn't know. But I suppose it's only a matter of time until they do.

Person vision mixing for the projection screen on the side of the house, which had different camera angles etc.

Sam's quite nice! Razz

As other's have said, the titles have got a horror theme to it with the hands reaching out. Very nice! The legendary eye isn't used as much on the screens any more. They now use a real eye. Very nice!

A few minutes ago on BBLB, Davina just coined an ideal nickname for that weird goth one . . . "Scary Mary" . . . !
I'm surprised that no-one has noted that "Scary Mary" is quite possibly the first ever BB housemate to recieve
prolonged jeers and booing from the crowd outside the House, while she made her way into the House!

I can't imagine that particular Housemate to last very long in the BB6 House before being evicted . . .

Kitten got booed and jeered on her way into the house last year.... then again she did give the crowd the finger a few times Rolling Eyes

I know Kitten was booed at on her way in last year, but she did provoke those hostilities by holding things up while
she gave her girlfriend one last snog, as well as giving the crowd some obscene gestures with her middle finger.

Scary Mary on the other hand, got unprovoked jeering as soon as she stepped out of the car, all the way from
there, right up to the point where she actually went through the double door entrance at top of the staircase.

My prediction . . . the public will have probably voted her out within the next 2-3 weeks of the series.
