Im assuming that the campaign for BB6 is going to begin soon, so a thread may be necessary now.

Come May 27th, what kind of house would we like to see? More dense living spaces? Separate bedrooms? More firey characters?

Or is there a general opinion that the dog known as Big Brother has had its day?

I would like to see Big Brother the way it should be, without any gimmicks. Just 10 people left in a house to get on with it. I think the series can be much more interesting when there aren't any distractions.

I would also like to see a two week period without any evictions at the start, as per the original BB. This gives viewers more of a chance to decide who's most interesting.

Saying that though, BB3 proved to be the most popular, and that was when endemol decided to start making things interesting...(rich/poor etc)

I totally agree with the delayed evictions - the public do have to get to know the housmates first. I think there was an eviction once on the first night, but I may be wrong on that.

There was never an eviction on the first night, though in BB4 they were made to nominate on the first night.

Well, did you see last night's 'I'd Do Anything To Get On TV' where it had pictures from Germany's lifelong BB! The housemates could potentially be locked up forever! I read about it in the paper a few months ago, but the paper being The Sun I thought it was cobblers, as I can't see how a German TV station could afford paying for the housing for 10 or so people and afford losing large amounts of viewers, as surely the audience would become bored of it after, at most, a couple of months.

It should just be like bb2 with a good mix and balance, without the wannabees like jade or nadia

I thought BB2 and BB4 were without doubt the most boring - purely for the reason there were no outrageous characters, like, for example as you say Jade or Nadia.
Personally I think it wouldn't be doing Channel 4 or the viewers any favours if there was a boring house, as I think the reason many people tune in is to see the next joke, fight or challenge, but thats my opinion.

Why can you not use the Big Brother discussion thread: http://www.tvforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15920

If a new thread is needed (which I question) wait until the show actually starts.

When the new series starts, we'll more than likely have another official BB thread at the top of the forum.
