Amazing to think how communications have changed since 2002, these days we think nothing of phoning up Aunty Alice in New Zealand over SkyPE and be able to actually see and speak to her in person over nearly any speed broadband connection, whereas back then you needed a second mortgage to do the same thing and you could only hear her, not see her.

Strangely I think that RI:SE Mk I that followed seems more dated for their use of individual email address that were pushed to their blackberry devices. Possibly because it was quite a modern programme at the time.

Credit to RI:SE though that although it was completely the wrong show to follow The Big Breakfast I'd say Daybreak Mk I and GMB definately have influences from the first version of RI:SE.
