Its probably part of the reason Johnny and Denise worked at the time but looking back I do find many clips from their era have dated much more than earlier clips with Chris and Gaby.

A good few minutes of a show from either 1997 or 1998. The news gets cut off before Phil announces the date but the red background behind him tells me it's a Thursday.

Good detective work but it also helps that Denise introduces the show with "It's Thursday, March 12th"

(Which makes it 1998)

Think it's probably earlier rather than later based on the clipboards not being personalised.

Ah, they had different ones at the beginning with targets on them.

That's the symbol of the Mods, which ties into the whole opening/Phil Daniels being a guest.

20 years ago today, that dreadful revamp...

Its a shame he never got round to uploading the full show. Would liked to have seen that.
