Falling in that bracket, I would like to see something entertaining in the morning. I'm guessing that I'm in the minority.

Thought they may have been referring to Emma.

So much of that article seems just as relevent today IMO as it was 22 years ago, with 16-34 year olds not being catered for at breakfast and surely an opportunity there to make some serious money if they have the right product.

That's just nostalgia talking I'm afraid.

Two things that weren't available to just about every 16 - 34 year old 20 years ago:

The Internet
Smartphones / Tablets

The main competition hasn't changed at all - bed!

Radio is thriving in the morning - there is an audience there to be captured that wants to be entertained and start the day with (I can't complete this phrase without it sounding inuendous) rather than just have the news.

Is that partly because of people listening whilst travelling?

Something i found regarding an American version of the show called "The Big Day"

The only footage i've seen of this is on the 1000th show of The Big Breakfast when it was mentioned in Snap, Cackle & Pop.

I assume the colored bars at the end of this clip were to do with the Nostradamus joke at the end?

When in November 2001 did they do The Large Breakfast show? I'd love to see that again if anyone has it laying around!

I found this on youtube earlier, it's a mock closing titles of the current house including a fly out or fly over of the stadium and house:

The geek in me would love to see an updated fly-in! It would be really easy these days with a drone. They used to use a manned mini-helicopter I believe.

It'd probably be a lot easier and cheaper nowadays with the use of a drone. Would be awesome to see an updated one though.

However much easier it is nowadays I suspect if the show was still on air it would still take them months to update the titles whenver they made any changes.

P.S. Do we know when the yellow house 1997 titles debuted as I'm sure they weren't in use from when Johnny started in the September, with the mid-1997 titles still used.

Is the house still a private house? Is anyone even living there these days? I went past the house back in October last year and it seemed and felt like It was abandoned.
