Actually thinking about it logically, I seem to remember that the same team that produced the overnight and morning ITV News bulletins were also the team behind The BB's News, so it would be logical that it came from the morning news studio... (Studio 3?)

That makes sense. I know it used to share studios with News at Ten but I think was housed in the C4 studio by the end.

Moving away from the news and on to the World Cup/Euros. Not sure they did anything in 1994 (England didn't qualify), but for Euro 1996 they ran "The Brian Moore the Merrier" - anyone remember anything about that comp. 1998 had special titles for the World Cup but did they have a competition?

They did quite a bit for Euro 2000, and can remember the TV on Mark 'Brighty' Bright's bar having some sort of Euro 2000 graphics on it, and Scottish and English flags covering the curtains of the french windows.

Here is a video, not related to anything being discussed but thanks to a suggestion by Andrew Wood in another thread, I reckon this video should now stream beautifully.

This is something that Richard Bacon was really good at on the Big Breakfast, talking to the public about nothing. Amanda Byram is just as annoying as I remember her too.

The studio Carol is in looks very much like the basement studio at Channel 4's Horseferry Road headquarters. I can't see how that would be the case though. Maybe a live link was set up at a facility closer to Carol's home for that week?

It's the C4 News studio, the coloured screens by the drumkit are part of the usual C4 News set. Pretty sure BB News was coming from there regularly at this point.

This clip's been knocking about on YouTube for ages. It's always bugged me because I think it's clear Denise has already sussed the upcoming gag and is just playacting...

I don't think she sussed it. You can clearly see the moment she realises.

I just feel that in the build up she looks as though she knows what's coming and is just hamming it up. I just don't find her believable.

Something I've always wondered is... look at this clip around 4:45:

Johnny is crying, but what was the reason? I don't think it was Liza's last day as her farewell was done in the hallway.

Had Lionel Ritchie been on that day and Johnny was emotional at whatever song he was singing?

I found this full pre-christmas episode on YouTube earlier - I don't think it's been posted here before.

It's clear that the tombola feature at around 1hr02 didn't go to plan at all. It seems a bit rigged too - not sure they'd get away with that nowadays! Still very funny though.

Some BB footage in this directors montage which also includes some footage from More Tea Vicar in 2000:

A gentleman called JasonB asked me to upload this particular Friday song. It's mainly about EastEnders.

'scuse quality.
