Very true. I doubt Channel 4 would risk anything again. The only other non channel 4 channel that doesn't air anything major in the morning that something similar would fit on (imo) would be ITV2.
I have wondered if any broadcaster has considered doing a deal with a commercial radio station to air their broadcast, using in studio cameras, similar to The Chris Moyles Show's Radio X camera set up.
It is, and whilst I'd love to see a programme like the big breakfast in the morning, most people who don't want news dominated programmes listen to radio or watch recorded programmes/on demand.
