They used a computer to make it look like it had gone up. Nice the way they showed all the looka of the house as well. what happend to the one they made for some one to win?
If everyone who watched it today, including some who are getting all weepy at its demise, had been genuine regulars over the last couple of years, it wouldn't be ending.
I think the novelty of breakfast TV is long over and radio has returned to its rightful place as the perfect to companion to showering, shaving, farting, burping, dressing and eating first thing in the morning.

Corr they did that quickly!
No, I meant the duplicate house that was given away!
Anyway, I have watched the BB regularly for the past 9 1/2 years, and in fact a week hasn't gone by when I haven't watched it, so I am a loyal viewer.

It was a shame to see the BB finally go - it's been around since I was 10, so in a way it's been a part of my growing years as a teenager.
The sad fact is, as someone kind of pointed out above, things like this have their good and bad periods - it should be remembered the BB could have very easily finished five years ago had it not been for the massive success of Johnny and Denise.
The show was poor for a period between 1995 and '96 - not always down to the whole presenter line-up - Zoe Ball has gone on to quite big things and I think it would be fair to say the show really didn't suit her style - rather like Kelly Brook. Out of all their presenters, Mark Little, Paul Tomkinson (tried to be as funny as Johnny Vaughn and completely failed) and the geecky guy with specs who presented it for a while during the mid-90's were their worst by a long way.
In my view the show started to lose direction during 1999, and the relaunch early last year was really the final sraw in my opinion. Given time with Richard and Amanda at the helm it might just have returned to it's former glory, but the plug was pulled and now we will never know.
Some great memories, but in fairness I think it's time for some new people with fresh ideas to have a go at the morning slot on Channel 4. The BB should be consigned to TV Heaven and take it's worthy place alongside all those other great classic TV shows.
